We spent a week of vacation at Pension Silberbauer in February 2024. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and shown the house on a tour. Rooms, dining room, sauna and a small fitness room. The food in the evening was terrific, we were already looking forward to it at the breakfast buffet in the morning. There is a lot to discover in the area. Zoo in Lohberg, Weinfurther Glasdorf in Arrach, Joska Glas in Bodenmais, silver mine and much more. There are many excellent tours for hiking. The large Arber for downhill skiing and the cross-country skiing center can be easily reached by car. We look forward to coming back next year.Yvonne and Marcel from Berlin

Very nice hosts of the guesthouse. If you are looking for peace and quiet you will find it here. Very well-equipped rooms with a great view. Centrally located for excursions in the Bavarian Forest, but easy to walk.We can recommend the guesthouse 100 percent.

The guesthouse accommodated us for a week and is absolutely recommended for a family vacation. Child friendly, the rooms are cleaned every day, and the breakfast/dinner was a delight. All of this at a fair price, so we can only thank you for this great week of vacation!The location in the valley made it a little difficult to get cell phone reception, but there was stable WiFi here. Parking spaces were always available in front of the guesthouse.In any case, our highlight was the varied 4-course menu in the evening, which we will rave about for a long time.Greetings from Upper Lusatia!

A great guesthouse with very clean rooms with a wonderful view from the balcony. Lake districts in the area are well worth seeing, but you should be able to walk easily. Particularly noteworthy is Mr. Silberbauer's fine cuisine, which is worth mentioning stars and which we were able to enjoy for 14 days. Also the super service from Ms. Silberbauer, who read your wishes from your eyes. All in all a successful holiday, thank you very much.

We chose the Pension Silberbauer because of the very good reviews. And we were totally thrilled. The food was great, big compliments to Mr. Silberbauer, the rooms were great and Ms. Silberbauer always made sure that you were well looked after. Even our two teenagers felt very comfortable. And our dog was welcome. Lohberg is a great place from where you have many opportunities for other activities.

We were here with our dog for the first time and we were thrilled! Everything is right here!!! We felt very comfortable, had a nice, clean room, a cozy atmosphere in a quiet environment with a beautiful view of nature. Ms. Silberbauer looked after us lovingly and unobtrusively; our wishes were taken into account. And the food that Mr. Silberbauer cooks is simply great!!! We were treated to an incredible 4-course meal every evening that some 5-star hotels can't match - and we've been going to Austria several times a year for years, where we've only been able to enjoy good cuisine. In this great guesthouse the food, including a super breakfast, was exactly to our taste! I don't eat raw tomatoes and that was always taken into account and my salad was always specially prepared (not just left out the tomatoes). There is simply NOTHING to complain about here!!! Peace, relaxation and great food make our vacation perfect for us! We will be back!
