The decision to book this hotel was an absolute failure. The room is a joke. There was no breakfast because the heating wasn't on in the room. The reception was not staffed upon arrival. No thanks.....

We didn't expect much and were still disappointed. Koblenz is expensive in itself but paying 75 euros a night for the shop is far too expensive, it would be worth a maximum of 35 euros. You can't call this a hotel, more like a low-quality hostel. There is no reception, no room service, i.e. no new towels and no hygiene products such as shampoo or similar. At the same time, everything in the hotel is open, room doors are open, in the hallway there is a cupboard in which bits and bobs with towels have simply been thrown together, and in a drawer there are simply keys from the other rooms. The only expectation we had was normal rooms but the room was not cleaned beforehand and was extremely dusty. The furnishings are spartan, the TV doesn't work, the bed doesn't have a real mattress, just big foam pieces, the lights don't work and the water in the shower is only lukewarm.I think it's enough for someone who is traveling alone and just wants to take a short break, but not recommended for a couple for a weekend stay. Even though it was only 2 nights, we couldn't wait to check out again. The hotel would have a lot more potential if they invested a little bit instead of offering a no-system kudelmudel with thrown together pieces of furniture from the 17th century.Never again, rather invest 30 euros more and book something sensible.

Heating on the highest level didn't heat up the room, Wi-Fi was very poor.., No free parking spaces, you have to pay extra, in a single room you don't even have a decent closet, only a small chest of drawers, breakfast also has to be paid extra.. For 1/ 2 nights OK but definitely not longer for the price. Beds are comfortable. There was also a disturbance at night (loud music) from neighboring houses. (On the weekend)

Rooms: A beautiful hotel decorated in a vintage style. The rooms are very clean, I really can't complain about that. There is also nothing to complain about in terms of the furnishings.Service: Super friendly owners, if anything happens you can contact us at any time. Very exemplary.Location: Located a little outside the city center, but you can get to the city center in about 10-15 minutes by bus (about 30 minutes on foot). The Ehrenbreitstein district is nice and quiet and there are a few restaurants and also a supermarket right there within reach. The Ehrenbreitstein Fortress is also not far from the hotel. The hotel is also quite cheap compared to other hotels in Koblenz, making it a good choice, especially for price-conscious guests. All in all I have to say that the hotel is good value for money. Highly recommended, would love to come back!
