We were there a few weeks ago with a larger group and three small children. Unfortunately we weren't so lucky with the weather, but we all really liked the accommodation. The kitchen was very well equipped except for a few small things and the owner Michael also wanted to make some improvements. He just took over the Alm. Michael is super nice, really helpful and friendly. We also forgot something, he sent it to us! The outdoor area would certainly be great when the weather is nice! Really recommended for large groups thanks to the large kitchen and the many rooms with separate bathrooms!

The bakery is very old and partly run down. Above all, it was freezing cold, the heating didn't work at all in many rooms, and in some it was lukewarm. The duvets were super thin and we slept with hats and sweaters. It was also so cold in the bathrooms that the children didn't want to shower. Answer from the owner: That's just how it is in an old house in the mountains. But the price doesn't correspond to an old house. The toilets also smelled incredibly bad.The kitchen is very well equipped, ideal for cooking for many people. However, it wasn't really clean, the milk frother was full of moldy milk.Overall, unfortunately, a very poor price-performance ratio.

I stayed here in August for 7 days with my family and 3 children in this beautiful hotel! They are very nice, clean rooms and very large, where we had enough space. The location is ideal for relaxing as it is very quiet. We were able to use everything and felt very comfortable. The mountain view is very beautiful! There are many beautiful places nearby for hiking and sightseeing, ideal for the children! The innkeeper was very, very friendly and helpful! The breakfast was very good, there was everything...I can highly recommend it!We will definitely come back next year as we really enjoyed it.Best regardsFamily

We traveled from hut to hut on the Via Alpina and it is often not easy to find accommodation for one night. Many thanks to Michael for making this possible for us this year. Michael the host fulfills almost all wishes! The accommodation was beautiful and the kitchen was well equipped.

We were at the Bäckeralm with 14 people for a bachelor party and were thrilled. We had the whole house to ourselves and were only visited by thirsty cyclists who were hoping for a stop. The whole house is in great shape. There is a huge and very well-equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, so cooking is no problem at all. If the weather doesn't cooperate, you'll find more than enough space to eat, play, celebrate, etc. in the cozy dining room. When the weather is nice, the huge terrace with plenty of seating is of course great. There is also a mobile charcoal grill and a very large brick grill available. The rooms, each with its own bathroom, were clean and nicely furnished, including towels and bed linen.By car it is only a 6-minute drive to Bayrischzell, where the nearest shop is. In the other direction you can go swimming at Thiersee in about 15 minutes or in Kufstein in just over 20 minutes. The landlord Michael was always concerned about our well-being and the booking and the entire contact was very friendly and worked like clockwork. Thanks for that! The only drawback is probably the poor internet connection due to the location. There is WiFi for this, which is sufficient for writing messages and surfing a bit.

We booked the Bäckeralm with friends for 2 days. As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed and shown everything we could use for our stay. We found very clean rooms as well as the kitchen and the outdoor area (the former beer garden with grill). Michael was always open to questions and tips in the region. The location of the Bäckeralm was very ideal for us as we could start our bike tour from there. We have booked again for late autumn and are already looking forward to seeing you again.

We went to the Baeckeralm as a large group with children between 0 and 5 and can't recommend it.Mice in the dining room, kitchen and bedrooms and the associated remains. The landlord was on site during the day, which was rather unpleasant, especially for children. Even his wife came into the house unannounced to rudely tell us that we should turn off the lights (although we were doing crafts with the children in the rather dark room). The outside area was left dirty, beer bottles were still lying around and coal was scattered on the ground. Defects in showers, flushing, drains and kitchen sinks indicate that it is an old house and nothing is currently being put into it.The landlord Michael asked us to let him know if something wasn't right, but the feedback was not addressed. We cannot explain the positive reviews, especially about him personally.

I stayed in the Bäckeralm with friends for five days. We booked the entire house for our own use. Even though we paid the full price, some rooms were locked. The final cleaning was also charged for the entire house, even though one floor was not used by us.There are mice in the kitchen, lounge and bedrooms. The rooms, which were once lovingly renovated, are getting old and have all sorts of defects.During our booking period, friends of the landlord brazenly gained unauthorized access to the house. In addition, the landlord himself comes to the house unannounced several times a day. The overall impression of the accommodation does not correspond to the image conveyed on the website.

We had a great weekend. Michael is very accommodating and you can tell that he knows something about his craft. We'd love to come back any time!
