A hotel with a very special charm. Here time seems to have stood still in a fascinating way. The hostess is extremely accommodating and friendly. The beautiful old house is very clean. The breakfast was rich and tasty. There was fresh fruit, muesli, yogurt, eggs, sausage, Black Forest ham, and cheese, as well as orange juice.The room was very spacious and bright. The beds were very good. We would like to come again.

Directly on the Schluchtensteig.It is a very large old building with the charm of days gone by.The fact that there is no heating should be announced on the homepage.An extra €10 was charged for the thermos flask of warming tea, which was just not right as everyone was cold.The rooms/bathroom were clean.The price-performance ratio was not right here.

The accommodation is quietly located on the outskirts of St. Blasien. 5 minutes walk from the Schluchtensteig.The room was a bit old but was clean and functionally furnished.The hostess is very nice and helpful.The breakfast offered a good selection.

I found the old hotel very charming and I also liked the furnishings. After the Schluchtensteig hike, I used the bathtub with the great old fittings outside in the pouring rain.
