Because of the very good reviews, we made reservations in advance and went to the Schlundhaus Restaurant in the cozy beer garden in the inner courtyard today.The two waitresses were very friendly. The food was very tasty. The Franconian pork shovel is a MUST with the dumplings and the delicious sauce. The salad could have used a little more flavor (tomato or something), but it was okay. There was a great, fine children's menu that left nothing to be desired.If there's anything to complain about at all, it's that we waited a relatively long time at the beginning for the order to be taken. But this could also be due to the group of 10 people that were also there. And it was a little dark in the men's room stall.Otherwise, a lovely evening and a successful visit to the Schlundhaus. We would like to come again.

After the website said it was open, we walked from the RV parking space to the restaurant in the pouring rain only to read that it was closed for vacation.It can't be that difficult to write this on the Internet.So actually no star at all.
