It was our second visit and it is certainly difficult to surprise in this segment of the 2 Michelin category, but the whole atmosphere is so wonderfully different, calm, relaxed and serene. The tables are left in their bare, pure wooden surface, not drowned by a scenario of forks, knives and spoons, but rather making the wonderfully tasting towers of delicacies shine. This allows the taste buds to enjoy the space even more intensively.We love the tiny, puristic details that give an idea of the perfectionism of the actors. The professionalism and presence of the young and passionate service team ensured that every course was appreciated and enjoyed. Thank you very much for a wonderful evening, and thank you for the wonderful moments of enjoyment

A romantic old mill building, perfectly restored and technically state-of-the-art, very quietly located in the countryside on the edge of the municipality of Schluchsee. With excellent cuisine that is innovative and very wholesome and which has rightly received two Michelin stars.

We booked the dinner, bed and breakfast package through the website. Follow up emails from them were friendly.We took the time to walk up from the station in the late autumn sunshine, otherwise a transfer service was offered.The initial reception was friendly, with a welcome sekt and a tour of the small hotel. We would then use the wellness area with the other guests.The room was large and confortable.We were asked to come down to dinner in good time so we could have apperitives in the lounge. The only niggle with our stay was that when we went through to the restaurant we were offered another apperitive and then had to wait whilst the canapes were served with only water, to drink. Then the wine pairing started with the "proper" menu. Either the restaurant could serve the canapes to the guests in the lounge or offer a wine for the canapes in the pairing.The food its self were very accomplished classic flavours. The wine pairing passing well to each dish.We then had a good a la carte breakfast, which was ordered the night before.We could then make use of the late checkout included in the dinner, bed and breakfast, and use the wellness area privately for an hour, before again making use of the late autumn sun and walking along the lake to Aha.

Our goal was the cuisine of Restaurant Mühle; we were curious to see whether we could agree with the good reviews. After an all-round successful evening with an exceptionally harmonious menu (interesting flavors, Asian touch, finest craftsmanship), friendly, pleasantly uncomplicated service, we can only give top marks. The rooms and especially the breakfast completed the good overall impression.

We can absolutely recommend the restaurant. Really good chefs whose cuisine has rightly won several awards. High-quality food of the best quality is creatively combined here and offers new surprises for the palate with every course. The service is impeccable and underlines the very pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant. The restaurant, the food and the very warm service will remain fond memories.Conclusion: We'll be back!

We spent two nights in a hotel at Schluchsee and it was simply fantastic. The friendliness of the staff is remarkable and contributes significantly to the relaxing atmosphere.The breakfast was an absolute highlight: fresh, varied and delicious. The evening snack also exceeded our expectations - the selection was delicious and perfect for a cozy evening.Overall, our stay was a completely positive experience. We can only warmly recommend this hotel and are already looking forward to our next visit!

A truly outstanding experience! The team is extremely young, uncomplicated and yet extremely professional and courteous - a perfect combination! You can feel the passion and commitment in every detail of the service. The food was absolutely amazing and had a few memorable elements that will stay with us for a long time. We liked it very much. Everything (hotel and restaurant) is managed with great attention to detail. The decor of the hotel is very tasteful (fortunately not a bit stylish) but adapted to the location. Lots of wood and light furniture and, which is rare, very good lighting. In a word: comfortable!The restaurant is inside the hotel.There is a menu of “upgrades” for an additional charge. It was extremely good! All courses were perfectly coordinated with each other. The employees are motivated and friendly.We are thrilled!!

Last night I had an unforgettable experience. A visit to a restaurant turned out to be a real stroke of luck. The atmosphere was inviting and radiated a pleasant warmth. The staff welcomed me with a friendliness that was second to none. Every guest was treated courteously and attentively. I experienced a real culinary explosion of taste. Every bite was a delight, prepared with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail. This was probably the best food I've ever had the pleasure of eating. The combination of excellent food and warm service created an all-round successful atmosphere. An evening that I will remember for a long time.
