I ate venison schnitzel. It tasted excellent. Really tender and cooked to perfection. The salad was also a dream. If you want to eat well you have to go here. The innkeepers were also very friendly. Hsmmer Good

Restaurant kept very dark, the temperature is very cool. Seven of us wanted to eat here and had made reservations (without knowing the menu). We arrived, got the menus and the landlady ran away without taking our drinks.When someone asked if only one portion of fries was possible, the landlady reluctantly agreed. Unfortunately, you won't find salad, chicken, pasta or rice here. We then decided not to eat here and only consume the drinks we had already ordered. After we told the hosts this, they seemed very annoyed and suddenly became unfriendly. People were talking about us behind the counter.The landlord tried several times to “talk” to us (more likely to confront us), but was pulled away by the waitress two or three times.In retrospect, we noticed that our mood, which had been very good during the trip, subconsciously sank when we entered the restaurant.When we paid, the landlady was friendly again and we voluntarily paid 15 euros as a contribution towards the cost of the place setting that had already been served. The landlady then said goodbye to us in a very friendly manner, the only comment we received from the landlady was “Greetings to the canton” in a derogatory tone (we are from Switzerland).Other things: a drink glass still had lipstick from the previous guest on itThe edges and corners of the restaurant are very dirtyThe invoice did not match the prices stated on the menu

Good and pleasant⁹

Very good food, good value for money, nice couple runs the restaurant. Pleasant atmosphere. Chanterelles perfectly prepared. Highly recommended!

An older couple do it with so much fun and love for their job. The food was very tasty, and the price and performance are 100% right.

We were also greeted by a dog. But one on two legs. Could have been the boss. Very cheeky and Swiss discriminatory. Then we went across the street to the bakery. Was a good decision.

*HOW!!!*I have no idea how to get 3 or more stars here!? Basically you would have to give minus 5 stars.Here it starts with outrageous and unbelievable rudeness. It continues with a lack of cleanliness and comfort. Further about the absolute lack of flexibility - just ordering a fries is not possible "with such extra requests you can no longer afford staff". There was also no carbonation in the beer - but if you like stale beer, you've come to the right place. The food wasn't disgusting, but it didn't taste good either, so really not worth the price.As soon as we arrived, we had to listen to a lot of bad-tempered complaining about the awning ("that kind of back and forth, all day long you're just busy retracting and extending the awning, sometimes it's sunny, sometimes it's cloudy, someone wants shade and that Others don't care, you can hire a caretaker who only takes care of the awning and the guests' wishes, etc.... and all of this in the 32 degree, humid weather at the moment).In the meantime, four more “interested” guests arrived and first looked through the menu outside in the annex. It probably wasn't what they were in the mood for and then they quite legitimately went back across the square looking for a suitable restaurant. Then 'he' comes shooting out and shouting after them: "Hey, what's that supposed to mean?"All in all:If my husband hadn't stubbornly stayed seated out of sheer "fun and hope for new holiday episodes", I would have paid for the drinks and gotten up and left without waiting for the food.It is a highlight when guests get lost here and how they are received. The chanterelle noodles were ok, you have to be fair, but everything around it is “worth a visit” says my husband, otherwise you missed something.Personally, I'm just shocked!With all my imagination and best will, I can't imagine anyone coming here a second time.Then you just retire when the shop just annoys you and doesn't bring in anything.

People of a certain age who go out of their way. But not very pleasant and hygiene is lacking. Too bad because the dishes are good.

We were there on a Monday around 7:30 p.m. and were greeted by an aggressive dog. When the innkeeper appeared, he snapped that there were no guests there and that's why he was closing. It's unbelievable how you run a restaurant like that. In any case, we will never be guests there

Perfect food!! Impossible to say anything bad, everything homemade and with impeccable attention!!! 100% recommended.
