Really lovely spot overlooking a pond with ducks. We originally just popped in to try some blackforest gateaux but when the kind lady mentioned pumpkin soup and deer ragu we decided to order that too.The soup was delicious, perfect consistency and flavour seasoned with pumpkin seeds. The ragu was of great portion with fresh pasta, pear and cranberry. The kirchtorte itself was massive in size so we shared one. The sponge itself was a little dry but the cherries in it were gorgeous.Overall lovely service (card accepted too) and nice food.

We were walking through the town, doing the waterfall route on a rainy day, arriving at this Restaurant & Café; They accepted us very well with Floki, first we were outside on the terrace and they brought us water without asking…And then it started to rain harder and they let us go inside to eat. Everything was super good and especially the black forest cake! Impressive 😍😍🇩🇪🐾🇩🇪We would definitely repeat again!

Very nice typical German "trattoria" in front of a pond. We eat very good typical German food and at absolutely adequate prices. I ate a really delicious Currywurst. The menu is only in German but if you know English the very kind staff speaks it perfectly. Highly recommended.

We stopped off for lunch on our way to view the cuckoo clocks and the waterfalls. We opted for the chicken salad and the potato strudel, which was the veggie option. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food. The only annoyance was the wasps that kept trying to get our drinks.

We ate in the restaurant and it was very tasty, unfortunately I wasn't able to take a photo of the food. The service is very, very friendly and it is located right on the lake.
