The house people are extremely nice and accommodating; uncomplicated reservation; fantastic breakfast; sparkling clean room like the whole house; Attention to detail everywhere, nothing is missing! Not to forget the unique location. And all of this at an unbeatably low price. The accommodation and the friendly hospitality played an important role in a wonderful week in Franconian Switzerland. They were really great days with the Grau family. A very nice and accommodating family! The rooms were top, well maintained and always clean. The breakfast left nothing to be desired, there was plenty of everything, even a hot egg 😃 and a breathtaking view of the landscape for free. So you've come to the right place to spend great days in Franconia. One thing is for sure, I'll be back!!! 🤗

Are you looking for a room for your time in Franconia? You've come to the right place. The prices are top. The owners are so warmly nice and super friendly. The ambience is homely in the Franconian style. There is plenty of good food for breakfast. Whether Kaiser rolls, bread or grain rolls, eggs and jam, a mixed sausage platter. Cocoa, coffee or orange juice or all three. So everything you need to start the day full. The mistress thinks about it and responds to the needs. There is a fridge for the community and you can buy beer and other drinks for little money or just take them. You write down what you have taken and you will be billed at the end. There is beautiful countryside and hiking trails nearby. There is a small corner shop in the village as well as a doctor, savings bank or dentist. There are 2 single rooms, I was in room 1 and for the life of me I can't complain. There is a sink in the room for daily ablutions, and showers and toilets can be found in the hallway. There is also a TV and free WiFi. I'd love to come back 👍 👍 👍

Very nice, accommodating hosts. The room was absolutely great, very clean. Our room was cleaned every day. We slept very well in the beds and the breakfast was very tasty. Performance exceeds price, you definitely get more than you pay for. Highly recommended and if we visit Franconian Switzerland again, then only with an overnight stay in the Grau guesthouse!

The 3 of us were next to the Grau family. A very spacious room with a balcony - great view and everything was very clean and attractive. The breakfast is very tasty and has everything your heart desires! The Grau family is very warm and helpful - service, cleanliness and breakfast are all great. We felt very comfortable and immediately noticed that the Grau family runs their family guest house with all their heart. Price/performance ratio is very good!!! In the basement there are drinks and a communal fridge and no matter what kind of drinks you want, everything is available!

A very nice house with holiday apartments/rooms that were very clean and well maintained. It was great that the hosts offered breakfast for little money! You could also buy drinks in the house and you could also use a communal fridge. Since we liked it so much, we might come back here again.

Very nice hosts, nothing was missing at breakfast. Very nice view of nature through the large window during breakfast. Ms. Grau enjoys talking to her guests and is very attentive. Thank you for the 17 day accommodation and all the best to the Grau family! 🍀

Very clean accommodation. The family is very friendly. Ms. Grau knows a lot about the area and is very helpful. The breakfast is so plentiful and delicious that you don't need anything all day. You are welcome to make a packed lunch for hikes or the journey home. We will be back

Very clean and very cheap accommodation. Breakfast rich and tasty. Since we were in the neighboring town of Essen, the nice landlady immediately offered to pick us up by car.

We were more than satisfied. Great starting point for hikes. The hostess is extremely friendly, the rooms are beautiful, with a romantic balcony, the WiFi worked great, the bathroom was modern and tidy, and the breakfast was great. Gladly again!
