The three of us were traveling through with my little son and came across the country hotel by chance. The phone call beforehand was very friendly.The welcome on site was warm and everything was thought of for me and my son. All requests and wishes were implemented. The dinner was delicious and we all had a good time and felt completely at home. The operating couple, who have only been running the house since April 2024, live this job!! When visiting friends, this is exactly what you need.We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to the north and we can only recommend the hotel across the board. By the way, also for dog owners.Thank you very much for the lovely stay.

We used the hotel for a stopover while in transit. It is perfectly located on the A7 with large, clean rooms. The hosts are extremely nice and accommodating. The breakfast also leaves nothing to be desired. We would love to come back!

Very nice hotel with absolutely friendly service. I received a warm welcome and had a great dinner. The kitchen is great!The rooms are newly renovated and in very good condition. I felt very comfortable and the cleanliness exceeded my expectations.The reviews on HolidayCheck and Tripadvisor are from 2022 and are out of date.After talking to the hotel owner, I learned that he and his family only took over the hotel this year, 2024. Now the shop is running smoothly again!Thanks for the great time!

Great hotel / great inn!!!It's a bit secluded, but highly recommended.The owners do everything they can to ensure the well-being of their guests and are happy to accommodate any requests.The menu is not large, but absolutely sufficient and here too the boss is flexible and happy to fulfill all wishes.Everything is newly renovated, including the rooms including the bathrooms, so that you will enjoy being here and coming back!

Nice bright and modern rooms. Friendly and very accommodating hotel host couple. The food downstairs in the restaurant was delicious and we had a cozy evening there. Spent.

my greatest praise:Very friendly receptionmy biggest criticism:The bed was a bit too soft for me.I stayed at the Landhotel Zur Altenburg on a business trip. After I called, the owner stayed there longer so that I could stop by.The breakfast is better than most hotels, I especially recommend the scrambled eggs.The hotel is close to the A7 and there is a gas station on the way. You can't hear the highway.

We have used the hotel for overnight stays on the way home since the 1990s and have always been very satisfied, especially with the newly renovated rooms. The price-performance ratio was always right! What the new tenants, taking over in 2022, are asking for in terms of room prices can be described as absolute impudence! These exploiters will no longer have us as guests! We also doubt that the once top kitchen can still keep up today, and it's probably just expensive! In addition, the house was initially only intended to be run as a hotel garni.

The hosts were nice and friendly. Clean and tidy. Hotel on the main street, a bit noisy. I was very disappointed with the food. Expensive, little and tasteless. By improving prices and quality it will be ok.

Nice operator couple. Rooms were kept simple, but completely ok. Beautiful farmer's bed linen, instead of the plain hotel white. WiFi is good; Internet television with your own stick is no problem.

Very nice service and the food is really delicious. The vanilla tiramisu with strawberry pulp and fresh strawberries was a poem! The small pieces of white chocolate in the tiramisu were particularly delicious.
