Visited from September 27 to 29, 2024 with a bunch of motorcycle friends. Warmly received by Angela and Nico. We immediately felt at ease and were pleasantly surprised by the spacious room with private toilet and shower. When we were there, part of the road was open, but the hotel was still easily accessible. In the evening we got to know them a little better and Angela is originally German who speaks good Dutch and runs the hotel together with her partner Nico. He is a genuine Dutchman and you can ask him a lot because he is good at odd jobs. Dinner was a large slab of schnitzel with a choice of mushroom cream sauce or gypsy sauce. Well supplied with vegetables and fries. After a lot of fun with friends, sleep well in comfortable beds! Spent the day in Willingen, which was recommended to us above Winterberg. First we visited the Curioseum where we were amazed. Then the city of Willingen and indeed good advice. We also had a good meal there and you can shop well there. We had a BBQ again for dinner and once again the food was well taken care of and there was plenty of choice of meat.We had a great time here and we highly recommend returning here again. Also very suitable for those who want to go on a winter sports holiday!

To put it briefly:In our opinion, the price-performance ratio is not right.We had a room for one night. To be honest, we wouldn't have wanted to stay longer for the price.When we first entered the room, we were greeted by an ancient toilet brush, followed by the stains that were in the carpet. There was an old plaster stuck to the bed cover.We expected a little more for the price.

Went skiing in Winterberg for a day with the group of friends and spent the night in this hotel.everything neat and clean, good beds and shower.Nice owners.

A cozy inn, with very sweet hosts. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent! Wonderful beds and good shower! Beautiful surroundings and centrally located. Had a nice New Year's Eve, everything was arranged, including champagne oliebollen and fireworks! We will definitely come back

We stayed there for two nights and had a bit of fun next door in the bike park 😄💪. So the operators were very nice ☺️, the room was completely ok, bathroom was ok, everything was clean and correct 👍💪. So the television...already antique...😄☺️.Breakfast simple, very simple, but ok...coffee very good, boiled eggs...ey exactly mine, waxy soft 😊👍.But the place is down...a lot has to happen, I think they can manage it.Unfortunately the street has been renovated, meaning there is no garage for bikes and bicycles. But we were able to store our bikes inside, thank you for that 😊😉All in all ok, but a lot of restoration work 🤨And somewhat limited payment options, please ask 😉But nice operators...😊👍👍

Like frozen history of the middle of the last century. The owners are a married couple. They live their own lives. The hotel is its own. Sometimes bikers come in and then just on the well-worn road.

An inn with Sauerland-Dutch charm! We received a warm welcome from the innkeepers! We were immediately convinced... we were well accommodated here and managed to arrange accommodation for around 40 bikers in August! The rooms are simple and functional, just right for our needs! What is much more important to us is that we treat us bikers in a friendly and helpful manner! Food is ok too, what more could we want 👏🤝💋👍👍👍❗🦁

Traditional Gasthof without frills in beautiful surroundings. Nico and Angela ensure that nothing is missing. Extensive breakfast buffet with a wide choice of sandwiches and toppings and a delicious hearty evening meal. Rooms are simple but clean and tidy with really good beds. Great base for long walks in the beautiful Sauerland. We will definitely come back, thanks for everything, we had such a nice time😉
