Very friendly and accommodating hosts.Very nice and fully equipped rooms and a beautiful view on the terrace.Just a few minutes from the town center.And even the parking lot was free!I'll be back!

Mountains in front of the door every morning. A wonderful start to every day!We were able to spend a week in this beautiful holiday apartment and would do it again at any time. If you want peace and seclusion from everyday life, this is the right place for you. If you want a bit of local hustle and bustle, you only need a 10-minute walk to the town center. We were able to start our hiking tours directly behind the country house. Hiking routes can be reached quickly in all directions.Thank you for the friendly welcome and this lovely week. We had a great rest!

Hello dear landlords,Once again we chose a holiday apartment where everything fit.Very nice and friendly landlords. The Menz holiday apartment is located above the Loretto Chapel in Oberstdorf in a very quiet location, with a great view of the mountains, but still central to Oberstdorf, a 15-20 minute walk via a beautiful hiking trail into the village. If you want, you can start all hikes directly from the apartment or, for example, take the bus from Oberstdorf to Kleinwalsertal. A visit to the Ifenhütte is definitely recommended. The start is at the Auenhütte car park or by bus from Oberstdorf, whether by gondola or on foot along the hiking trail.If you want to go on holiday here, right in nature, everything else is still on offer. For example, going out for a meal, shopping, etc. is the right place here.It was a lovely two weeks.Thanks!On this way I would also like to send you a warm greeting, Petra! If you want peace and quiet, this is the right place for you. We had a small, fine apartment that was immaculate. We can really only recommend the Landhaus Menz :-)

We booked at Landhaus Menz for the 3rd time from June 14. On that date, travel to Germany was not yet permitted. Rescheduling the trip was not accepted. From the start we were threatened with a lawyer or lawsuit. …

Owner does not understand Corona measures. Booked for the 3rd time, this time from June 14. Holiday trips were not yet allowed on June 14. Canceled 6 weeks in advance with the request to reschedule the booking. Denied! Threatening with a lawyer or lawsuit from the first contact. Finally paid. Feel like we haven't been treated correctly. Will never come back here... Be warned!

A very nicely located house with nice landlords. Very clean and well-maintained apartment with a fantastic view. Located a little outside, but right on hiking trails. So if you want to live away from the hustle and bustle of Oberstdorf and enjoy nature, this is the right place for you. Definitely a recommendation. We felt very comfortable.

Vacation from August 4th until actually August 11, 2012Were looking for a holiday apartment in a quiet location! That's why we booked the apartment far away. When we contacted the owners, they explicitly asked about the quiet location and confirmed this.On the day of arrival (Saturday), the access road (steep mountain, only one path) was almost impassable with a sporty car (extreme road damage and large holes in the asphalt). Then we discovered that a house was being built right next to our holiday apartment (distance max. 10 meters).We paid the rental fees on the day of arrival (very unfriendly due to an open window). Unfortunately we even gave generous tips :(On Monday we were woken up shortly after 7 a.m. by loud construction noise. When we returned from our mountain tour in the evening, the only access road was blocked by a deep construction pit. The landlord told us he knew the construction work would probably last until Wednesday. So we were able to forget all the trips we had planned. The construction noise continued throughout the day until Friday. Sleeping longer than half past seven was out of the question!After the landlady was politely asked about it on Thursday, she reacted very unfriendly (service desert in Germany!). Not a word of apology or anything like that! The only comment when we left: "Don't forget to hand in your spa cards" and "did you incur telephone charges?"We would have understood construction work, but not to this extent!The landlord couple Menz could have pointed this out to us during the two phone calls before arrival and on the day of arrival.We certainly won't be coming back and can only advise everyone against it.
