We were at the campsite for the first time for six nights. We were warmly welcomed by everyone, the owners Basti and Anja have the Harz ❤️in the right place, keep it up, we'll be happy to come back, it was a lot of fun 👌that's how camping and community work. Nice little family campsite, nice site operator, very helpful. Unfortunately, dogs will no longer be allowed from 2025, as some dog owners don't need to remove their dogs' poop from the meadows and beach.

It's a really nice place, you have peace and quiet and don't stand close together. You can relax and take a walk by the lake. From there you have many excursion options. To Wernigerode, Bernburg Tiergarten, Thale, Blankenburg and and...We will probably spend our extended weekends there 😁.Best regardsWitter family

First impression, extremely unfriendly - definitely out of the question for us as a campsite for camping with children - they might lose an ear afterwards!Yes, we didn't contact the groundskeeper in advance. And I completely understand the displeasure about that!We should and could have done that better.However, I miss the way people are treated here.Our presence was undoubtedly noticed as soon as we entered. As it turned out 10 minutes later, the attendant had waited patiently behind his counter for you to pay your respects, only to be greeted with a tone of voice: "TOO LATE."...…not “too late” anymoreAfter a few more harsh sentences, we finally found out that he was so angry about us taking things for granted, we apologized for not wanting to ignore him.But the warden's tone continued to become hard and monosyllables.Displeasure or not, but instead of appearing briefly behind the counter or politely reminding us afterwards that this is not a good thing, they waited to fill us up in the end as if we were the worst scoundrel.If we hadn't stopped by, nothing would have happened.This shows neither service nor hospitality.And if all this arouses such displeasure - yes - then I finally come to ask myself what effect such a reaction has on a child!Unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to get to know the War in any other way than this.

Beautifully located campsite with direct access to Halberstädter See.Sanitary simple, but always clean.Bread rolls are served daily in the small mini shop, and on weekends there are also simple but delicious dishes in the camping restaurant.The operator is a veteran, always with a funny saying on his lips, who runs his place with a lot of passion and love and does everything to make his guests feel completely comfortable.The long-term campers are also absolutely nice and considerate.We've been here for a weekend every now and then for several years and this time we feel really comfortable here too.We will be happy to come back in the future.

Quiet campsite in a great location with direct access to the lake. We were greeted very nicely by the owner and very unbureaucratically due to our late arrival.All in all a great place to stay, we would love to come back

Absolute insider tip.Unfortunately we only stayed here for two nights, we would have liked to stay longer and will definitely come back again!A great place, super quiet and you have access to the swimming lake.The owner is super friendly and helpful.Everything went smoothly and uncomplicated.You can also order bread rolls there and there is a small shop.The sanitary facilities may not be the newest, but they are always clean and tidy.Hot water for showering included!Would definitely recommend the place.Thank you for the great 2 days!

Very nice location with good opportunities to sunbathe in the free outdoor pool, swim in Lake Constance, a nice restaurant and kiosk and the option to sit outside under a roof with a small tent when it rains.The cleaning and service team is thorough, reliable and accommodating.

Absolutely positively surprised.I was traveling alone on my motorbike and spontaneously arrived here for an overnight stay. The more than friendly owner explains to me that everything is occupied. But if I find a place for myself in a certain area, I should get in touch. Of course I found something. Even more than enough.The atmosphere is really very pleasant and familiar. Courteous and friendly, that is not a given everywhere.For me, a tip for everyone who doesn't want to book in advance.
