I had a wonderful week with very friendly, attentive hosts. I would always like to come back! The room was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was delicious!

During our walk we passed the Landhaus Schmiederdamm and our daughter wanted to play in the children's helicopter that was parked along the way. After a short time, the Lord made it clear to us that if we didn't throw money into the helicopter, our daughter would have to leave. No other child was interested in the helicopter, so the gentleman had to worry about his earnings! After I didn't comply with his request, he became more than rude and sent us away. On an island that mainly lives from tourism and the good gentleman also makes his money from tourists, you wouldn't expect something like that! But anyone who meticulously counts out the slices of sausage and leaves washed-out towels for their paying guests - see previous reviews - will also scare playing children away from the toys that are set up for children, but only the paying ones. Vll. Another job would be more appropriate here!

My mother's review:Only cold water at the sinks. Single bathroom in the hallway cannot be locked.Doormat as a mat in front of the bed and under the sink.Breakfast buffet with packaged bread, rather simple.Price ok, but also poor performance.

The host was nice, but too pushy for me, I was immediately instructed about wearing a mask. The double room was very simple but clean, a bit put together, with a view of a barren construction fence.The breakfast room was catastrophically overloaded with kitsch, the breakfast was careless, the cheese slices were counted and served ice cold.

Cheap accommodation.The rooms are simply furnished, and you shouldn't forget that it's a guesthouse!Breakfast is completely sufficient.The owner is very nice and always available for a chat :-)Greetings from Oliver

The Matzies family is a really nice and recommendable host!I had a really great week on the beautiful island and felt really comfortable!The breakfast is very rich and fills you up, and the rooms were all great and clean :-)I'd love to come back in the future! :-)PS: I brought the three points from Berlin with me ;-)Best wishes to the beautiful island of LangeoogJohannes Wehning

We paid €390 for 3 nights in a double room. Our room was about 15m^2 in size. The adjacent bathroom no more than 2 m^2. The towels were completely washed and have probably lasted for several years. Some of the towels still had stains and yellow stains on the bed linen.In the entrance area you will find all sorts of junk. Old chairs, dried plants, plastic flowers, a wheelchair...For the breakfast buffet you have to specify exactly how many slices of cheese/sausage you want. Each guest is then given a plate of cold cuts plus cucumber and tomatoes, which already look very worn out. Fresh bakery rolls are advertised, but these are just baking cardboard. The wonderful bakery is 50m away :-). You can find lovely condensed milk from a discount store for your coffee :-(

Friendly hosts, but very expensive (60 euros with breakfast for a 7 sqm single room per night).Rolls, sausage slices and cheese slices are meticulously counted and the breakfast is kept very simple.Poor room cleaning: the full trash can wasn't emptied, the bed wasn't made and the bathroom wasn't swept.Conclusion: poor performance for too much money!

Unfortunately I didn't enjoy the 3 night stay. The visit wasn't expensive, but there was no soap in the room, the heating was only switched on after a cold night when the outside temperature was 16°C and the smell in the entrance area exuded the charm of the 70s. In my opinion, it was a bit kitschy and lacked bright lighting in the dining room and entrance area. There was a breakfast buffet which was well filling.By the way, the rolls at Becker next door taste delicious. The direct and helpful manner of the innkeeper was very pleasant.

We had a very nice stay on Langeoog from March 21st to 25th. We really liked the accommodation in the country house on Schniederdamm. Breakfast, with "Heini's" herring salads and anecdotes, was a good start to the day.Many thanks again to the Matzies family
