We had a great time in the well-equipped apartment. The highlight was helping with the stable work. Highly recommended with children.

I broke down and was standing in the pouring rain, which happened to be not far from this inn. A friendly woman probably saw me out the window and brought me hot coffee. She asked if I was okay and offered to come into the house. Although I only know the holiday apartments and the town from driving past, I now know that good-hearted people live here. I am eternally grateful that people like this exist.

We, 2 adults and 2 children, were here for the first time. What immediately strikes you is the warmth of the hosts.The children are enthusiastic about collecting the quail eggs, grooming the ponies and feeding the cows.The apartment (panoramic apartment) has been newly renovated and has everything you need to feel comfortable.The border with the Czech Republic can be hiked or explored by mountain bike.

The 4 of us were at the Schedlhof for the first time and the second time comes in winter, we have never had such a quick decision about vacation!Beautiful apartment and super nice hosts, everything was explained to the 4 of us while we were working in the stables.Great tip for a relaxed walk to watch a beautiful sunset. Bread roll service, milk, eggs, everything was great.Our 2 little girls are already looking forward to their winter vacation and of course we are too. Everything is great until winter with YOU at the Schedlhof

We had a very nice holiday at the Schedlhof with our two children and really enjoyed the relaxing time there. The hosts were very friendly and the rooms were clean. The farm with the animals would have been enough for our children to feel comfortable there all day long without any further excursions :). If the opportunity arises, we would be happy to come back there.

The ideal place for a family farm holiday!Lots of play options for children, the opportunity to help out with the stable work and beautiful excursion destinations in the area ensure a varied and relaxing time for young and old! In short: a place to feel good and to which you would like to come back.

We stayed at the Schedlhof twice and felt very comfortable, the rooms were very clean like last time and we didn't miss anything.We learned a lot about the work on the farm and were able to actively participate. Every question was answered in a way that the children understood.In addition to cows, there are guards, rabbits and cats.Enough green space to play.We will definitely come back with our grandchildren. We were at the Schedlhof for the third time this year, unfortunately too short. We are thrilled every time. Our son sheds tears every time we leave. We will come back next year too. The service and the hosts are very nice, they help with finding excursions, getting the eggs and are happy to give tips.

Griesbach, small town near Tirschenreuth in the Upper Palatinate. Rural peace, little traffic, no stress.Schedlhof of the Schmidkonz family rural farm, family connection, children can go into the stable and always some suggestions about what to do.We have been vacationing there regularly for about 11 years.
