Clean and Nice Place! The staff at the reception and the cleaning Lady were very friendly. The breakfast is big and also Rich for Vegetarien. They have a seperate room to lock your bike. They Even offered me the use of the Pool and Sauna of the savoy Hotel ( they are somehow connected)

I booked a three night stay at this lovely located hotel. Unfortunately, my dog exceeded their requirements (40cm and 12kg).They were kind enough to cancel my reservation and provide me with a full refund.Thank you. If I get a smaller companion, I'll definitely book again.

Hotel Goethe is intended for undemanding and healthy guests (it is not suitable for patients with difficulty walking, as it is not barrier-free). By undemanding, I mean room furnishings that already remember a lot or a noisy refrigerator that won't let you fall asleep. There is neither a bathrobe nor slippers in the room (as stated by the hotel on its website). And the pool? It is in the Savoy Hotel, if you are from Goethe, you pay CZK 150 each time. And why for healthy? For two large spa houses, one doctor (who gives you procedures according to what is currently available). It is said that there is also a primary school teacher, but she only comes once or twice a week. Otherwise, they hire Ukrainian doctors for a few hours a week, but they are not otherwise present at the hotel, so you have to go to the hospital in Cheb to solve any health problems you might have. And if you need a special diet, don't come here at all. Otherwise, they cook very well here, a choice of 3 dishes. The service at breakfast (topping up at the buffet) is often a bit slow. The staff (spa, nurses, maids) are really very pleasant and helpful.

Booked a double room Comfort plus and got a standard double room with two separate beds. The hotel is very old and the furniture is worn out. The long black hair of previous guests is still in the bathroom. Toilet glasses are no longer white, but rather yellowish. Shower head totally calcified.Dinner was a disaster. Salad buffet with 5 bowls (cucumber, tomatoes, radish salad, red cabbage salad and a kind of cauliflower salad) - not really great in taste. The main course, sauerbraten with dumplings, was cold. There were no vegetables on the plate.Actually you should be able to choose from 3 dishes. We were simply given food on the day of arrival and can't choose for tomorrow either. Will be eating out tomorrow.We paid €338 for 2 people for 2 nights with half board, discount when booking 53%. Normally you pay around €700 for it. It's definitely not worth it.There is also no parking lot at the hotel, it is about a 10-minute walk away.A positive thing to mention is that the hotel is located directly on the promenade. No street in front of the hotel, so very quiet.The offer included one Thai massage per person. This was done at the Savoy and was very good.

Booked a comfort double room and got a standard single bed. After complaining 3 times, I got a new room at the Savoy. Food was horrible in the evenings, like a canteen, more for old people… it was supposed to be a buffet but unfortunately you had to pick out the food in advance. Broken plates are not an option. Rooms are not cleaned, they just pretend. Parking lot too far away. We won't be coming back to the hotel!!

Hotel right in the center, great location, very friendly and helpful receptionist. Rooms with old and worn equipment but clean and well tidy. In the off-season, the corridors are not heated in the hotel, and the rooms were very poorly heated, which spoiled the whole impression of the stay. Access through the labyrinth of corridors through the adjacent Savoy Hotel was very long and unpleasant. Breakfast good and rich, dinner very weak, service fast and pleasant. Super Thai massage as part of the stay package.

The Hotel Goethe is located together with Hotel Savoy. There is no parking available nearby. We had to park by the train station for 6€ per day.It was a 15 minutes walk away from the Hotel.The receptionist Petr was helpful and friendly. One must not have high expectations of this hotel. The room was very basic and not luxurious. The sauna was small enough for 5 people at a time. The swimming pool was nice and well maintained. The food was bare basics. Nothing extraordinary. The massage was good. It had a sanotorium atmosphere than a holiday.

The Hotel Goethe is part of the Hotel Savoy. All treatments and the restaurant are at the Savoy, including registration. Unfortunately, the Hotel Goethe is getting old. The facility is still 90 years old. It feels like an older youth hostel. In my opinion, staying overnight at the Goethe is very difficult for people with mobility issues (lots of small stairs). The restaurant is practically furnished and very large. As a result, it loses the flair of the beautiful, magnificent times. The applications are fine. The staff is friendly. The lobby bar is particularly pleasant. With a view of part of the park. Very, very comfortable to stay longer.

Never again, it was the ultimate catastrophe. We didn't get dinner because the tables were reserved even though we had booked it. Room freezing cold. And you couldn't reschedule the applications to a different time. Staff was in no way competent. And you had to check in at another hotel. The only thing that was very nice was the place itself.

The hotel is located in the center, but is already in need of renovation, there was a guy sitting at the reception, very unfriendly, I don’t know his name, full and unkempt, procedures and honey. the sisters are very nice, the doctor is wonderful Olga. But the worst thing was the kitchen... in the morning at 8.15, whoever didn’t have time was late. Lunch and dinner are generally a disaster, then they smear mashed potatoes on the plate to make it seem more, then you have to ask for salads, but about Forget the tea, it’s good that you had a thermos with you. First and last time, never set foot there again.

An old hotel that has been repainted. Reception only speaks German during the day.Food is equivalent to a 3* hotel, meaning you will find something to fill you up during breakfast. Lunch/dinner are always 3 plates of your choice. 1 of which is always vegetarian.Our rooms were comfort+, meaning windows facing the cup promenade. Rooms were clean, warm and large. What we missed would be blackout curtains and a kettle. Windows and doors are not soundproof or odorproof, which means there are still a few people loud in the evening and the smell of onions from the courtyard in the morning. Hairdryer + TV + minifridge available.We had 8 treatments: 3 baths, 1 paraffin, 1 oxygen, 2 partial massages, 1 waterbed massage. The bathing equipment was new. Paraffin was good like everywhere else. Massages were relaxing.The medical staff friendly and helpful. The kitchen service tries to do everything on time, but they can't always do it and so you wait at the counter until supplies arrive. Dining tables are barely enough for 2 people, but 4 people can sit down. And then you don't clear away the empty plates...There was no WiFi in the entire building, maybe even at the reception.No parking space at the hotel! You can find private parking at 10min walk, 3 to 5€ per 24 hours, but again, not at the hotel!Sauna, Stanislav spring and swimming pool are in the same building, but in the other hotel: Savoy. You get there after a labyrinth, but you should let the reception know. You can also ask for the key to the infrared sauna at reception.We enjoyed our stay and would come back.

The place is beautiful and I would go here again and again, but not to this hotel!It is located directly in the pedestrian area, so you can get a free parking space just 20 minutes away. We also ordered a wellness package and when we checked in (not before 2 p.m.) we were sent to a nurse who explained to us that the treatments were only possible until Saturday at 2 p.m. Since we booked from Saturday to Monday, this is no longer possible. But there is no money back either. 2x hydrojet massage was the alternative. The rooms are very old and you always have the feeling of being in the hospital.We also ordered breakfast and dinner. On the day of arrival, you cannot choose dinner. There was a small piece of turkey with ready mashed potatoes. The salad buffet included a bit of peppers and red cabbage. The breakfast was also very poor. There was hardly any sausage and cheese. Just terrible! There was also hardly any communication possible with the staff.

LD Ottawa still lives in the past. Everything is old, there is not even a TV in the room /you have to buy it/, but the procedures and meals are normal.The spa and nature are beautiful, that's why I keep coming back.
