A good place to stay, with very friendly service and homemade breakfast. We rented a 2-bedroom flat, with balcony, that is only 700 m from the great sand beach in Sahlenburg. ||Accepts only cash payments, but that is the same for most places in the area.

We are from Bremen and were in Sahlenburg for 10 days and lived in Haus Erika! It was very nice, the room had a balcony with a view of the countryside. Breakfast was great and the landlords were very nice and helpful! It was 800 meters to the beach, shopping and restaurants were all nearby. All in all it was a very nice 10 days and we'll be back next year!Response from Sabine and Rolf from Bremen!

We were there with three people. Cuxhaven is generally a very beautiful area that I and we enjoy visiting. The landlord was very accommodating and really nice. A warm and open manner. You immediately felt at home. The room is large and nicely decorated. Simple but beautiful and completely sufficient. The breakfast was also great. You can choose from several types of bread and rolls. There were also croissants and other little things. Plenty of cold cuts and enough coffee in the morning were provided. Should I be in the area again, I would be happy to visit this guesthouse again. All in all, a very clear recommendation!

A cozy guesthouse run by the owner. We were given a very friendly welcome and provided with all the information we needed to explore Cuxhaven. The location of the property is central and a good starting point for cycling tours. The beach is within easy walking distance.A trip to Helgoland and a visit to the Cuxhaven fish mile and the Amerika Hafen are recommended.

Fantastic host couple, helpful and really wanted us to enjoy ourselves. Nice rooms, lovely balcony with a view of the valley and great breakfast. Nice to have pool towels as well. Cozy that there were drinks available/purchased at good prices with self-service. Very happy with our stay here, highly recommended

We stayed at Haus Erika for a short vacation over Easter. When we arrived, we were greeted very friendly by Mr. Sinn. We moved into apartment number 5. The apartment is spacious and brightly furnished. The apartment was clean and sensibly furnished. There are enough cupboards, storage space and a large bathroom with enough hooks and storage space for bathroom utensils. Unfortunately, the entrance to the shower is a bit high. The breakfast was very tasty. There were several types of bread and rolls, as well as enough types of sausages and different types of cheese and jam. There was also honey, muesli, fish, sweet baked goods, plenty of coffee, tea, orange juice, a freshly boiled egg, milk, apple spritzerand fresh fruit. We were thrilled. If we are in Cuxhaven again, Haus Erika will be our first place to stay overnight.

We stayed at Pension Erika for a week in mid-July and were very satisfied. Mr. Sinn is an extremely friendly and kind host. We felt very full. He has now put a lot of effort into breakfast tomorrow. The rooms are all very tidy and clean. There was nothing to complain about.Thank you very much for the wonderful time with you. We'd love to come back.
