Steffi's Hafenstübchen has a great location right on the Spree with the best German cuisine has to offer. To sit inside and outside. Yes food, I had pork knuckle twice in a week, and it was amazing, so huge and yet tender and tasty, big praise to the kitchen. Also the schnitzel and the brawn and especially the grits 🤣 something so fresh, like grandma used to have Cottbus. As a drink I always choose the red Fassbrause because it tastes just like it did when I was a child in the Spreewald. The service is extremely friendly and has its heart in the right place, just the way I like it 🤩The good soul of the house, you would say. And my tip to all GUESTS!!!....The Spreewald restaurants are always full in the Spreewald, especially in the EVENINGS and during high season!!!! Do yourself a favor and always reserve a day in advance, even if you stay overnight at Steffi's Spreewaldträume!!! Particularly important if you arrive late, as the kitchen closes at 7 p.m.!!! This doesn't hurt and is also easier for the staff if they don't have to send the guests away. We've been coming to the Spreewald for years and have noticed this mistake again and again among many guests. Of course, this does not apply or only partially applies to boat trips on the Spree. Back to the food 🤤I can also recommend the egg pancakes, which I tested at a few restaurants up to Lübbenau on vacation🤣 and the ones at Steffi's Hafenstübchen were the "fluffiest" for me and of course freshly made. But only available until 5 p.m .!!! As we have now seen, parking spaces are chargeable, but the restaurant can't do anything about it. As we noticed, the boss also does the cooking here, which I personally think is great if you know what kind of work the hotel and catering industry entails Will definitely be back next year. We had reserved a table for the evening, otherwise it would be difficult to get a table spontaneously. The service was nice and funny, the schnitzels we ordered came very quickly. Large portions, it was delicious. We'll definitely be back next year.

The Steffi's Hafenstübchen restaurant wasn't convincing today. First of all, at a cool 13° C, you are not allowed to sit in the sun because it is reserved. The guests who then arrived obviously wanted to sit there and could never find a place at the reserved table.Ordered food, and (various) schnitzel dishes were also ordered at the neighboring table. Salt and pepper were put on the table there. We had mayo and ketchup, although only one dish had fries with it. Any reasonably good cook will confirm that fried potatoes in a restaurant have nothing to do with homemade fried potatoes at home. But if, despite or perhaps because of increased prices, you can't taste salt or pepper, it somehow stops. The schnitzel isn't worth mentioning either. Everything is pretty loveless and tasteless. The best thing about my order was the horseradish!

Don't understand why so many people here complain about the waitress/owner? excite?! Have you all run out of humor? That's probably why... we enjoyed it very much and were served in a friendly manner by the staff and had a good time. Gladly again!

It's just sad that as a guest you are rudely approached and treated by such two women (waiters) in the restaurant. We weren't alone in this, as I could read from the previous posts here. It was not possible to get a group of 10 people at one or 2 tables. There should not be another chair at the 4-seater table. But when five male guests arrived a short time later, a fifth chair was immediately hired.By the way, there was still a large table free where we would all have liked to sit down. And the alleged reservation cards???At the end, when she brought the bills, there was a kind word.Conclusion: exchange operations, then we'll be happy to come back.

Prices for restaurants throughout the area are outrageously high and the quality is only mediocre. Toilet costs 1 euro, also for guests. Continued unfriendly service from the man in his mid-thirties with black hair. Absolute rip-off area!

After a pleasant boat trip, we were looking for somewhere to stop off. We were 10 people in a family. When we asked whether it was possible to sit together somehow, we were told that there were 3 individual tables. These were far apart. We accepted that. The request to be allowed to put at least one chair next to it so as not to completely separate the family would be denied. Drinks and food worked. A little later a larger group of men arrived. Without asking, they were given a chair. And the entertainment began. A rustic verbal exchange began in the form of a battle of words. OK. Personally, I felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave. Unfortunately our family hadn't finished drinking yet. That's why we had to be patient. As we walked we saw a sign on the outside wall of the building advising on good manners. Please and thank you.... Sorry. As a quiet person, I could have really turned around. P.S. Lack of staff or not. P.S. There was a large table available outside. Around the corner. We would have done everything ourselves. My first review in my life. It had to be.

Avoid at all costs!Totally unfriendly waitress/owner (?), the mere request for a table was answered in a way that should have been history since 1989...There are many other beautiful and friendly places, but this is definitely not one of them and should definitely not be visited.

Loud, rude, unfriendly waitress or maybe even the owner. There were 5 of us and we should have turned around straight away after the greeting. Way too expensive and bad. There is no indication that card payment is not possible!

We really enjoyed our vacation in the Spreewald. We were warmly welcomed in the Hafenstübchen and fed to our complete satisfaction. All dishes aresuperbly prepared. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Kind regards to Silke. We'll definitely come back again.

We cannot agree with the negative comments. The staff is friendly and humorous (you have to like humor), our cookies are delicious. It is also not true that you have to pay for the toilet. Guests can of course go to the Hafenstübchen for free. The separate toilet block belongs to the Hafen Bistro opposite.

Very tasty, fresh food. The humor takes a little getting used to at first. After a short time, however, it became very cordial. We were there for two days. The food is highly recommended!

Typical tourist restaurant. Nice location. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is not right here. The food was served within a few minutes. The portions were manageable. I can't give any recommendations here.

The positive thing is that you can take a break there.Otherwise very loud staff, which I personally find annoying.Despite a restaurant and other eating and drinking options, a fee of one euro is charged for a toilet. The toilet was dirty, there was only toilet paper in one cubicle and it smelled very unpleasant. Wouldn't take a break there again!

At the restaurant we were initially rudely stopped (the staff could not be recognized as waitresses). When we asked about a dish on the menu, the staff became very rude and ultimately we as guests were mocked about it. Absolutely not recommended.
