Experience history...that's how loud a staircase and a room door or the floorboards can be. Lovingly furnished and prepared for the children... something like that has to be praised. Daniela is a great host.

It was just wonderful there. The ambience has a very special atmosphere. Everything is implemented with such incredible attention to detail - it doesn't feel like a holiday apartment at all, but rather like a home. The brickwork and beams of the buildings are rustic and authentic, the loving figures and colorful flowers everywhere are magical. In addition, the landlady greets you warmly, as if you were a family member. I have never experienced anything like this anywhere else.What else is worth knowing and what may not be clear from the pictures: Villa Windschief is a farm with a total of 4 holiday apartments, which also differ in appearance and size. There is also a large garden with a sandpit and fireplace that everyone can use.

They were wonderful days. The house is really cozy and the grounds allow for good days. There are various units on the site, which has grown over hundreds of years. We could live completely by ourselves indoors and outdoors. And in front of the site there is a spring that led to the settlement back in the 17th century and whose water is drinkable and tastes wonderfully fresh.The town of Thale and the surrounding area are worth a vacation!!!

Great, cozy apartment (Frog Prince). We were there for 1 week and felt very comfortable. Lots of toys on site for the children. The hit was the railway. The hostess Daniela was also very friendly and open to requests. The location is quiet and rustic, about a 30 minute walk to the center. Lots of good restaurants nearby. We would love to come back 😀

We were greeted very kindly by Ms. Fricke; whenever we needed anything, she was always there straight away. The Froschkönig holiday apartment was very clean and beautifully furnished. We felt very comfortable. We can highly recommend it.

We spent a great family time here. 3 generations under one roof. Simply wonderful. The landlady is very friendly. Villa Windschief is lovingly furnished and is a play paradise for the whole family. With 4 bedrooms there is enough space for everyone. The yard and garden invite you to play and grill. Sit comfortably by the fire and end the day. We enjoyed it very much. The location is ideal for hiking to the Teufelsmauer. You can walk straight away or use the car. The cable cars in Thale can be reached in a few minutes by car.We felt very comfortable here and will definitely come back again.

It was a great holiday in Thale in a beautiful barn, enjoyed the evenings plus the garden, you can't expect more. Landlord also super easy to get along with. Very nice holiday in the Harz Mountains.
