What a historic and special place. I was accommodated in room 10 in the Cyracus House. Practical equipment. 2 beds, a table, 2 stools and a closet. The small bathroom was accessible from the room. I was there for a fasting hike and the spartan room was perfect for that. You could borrow a hairdryer. The view of the church courtyard from the room is so beautiful, almost breathtaking. For me, the stay was unique and special for precisely this reason. I can't say anything about the food. Clear recommendation for conferences, pilgrimages, hiking trips and school trips.

A family educational center in the shadow of an imposing church. Here you can feel comfortable in a very hospitable atmosphere. We have been coming together here for family reunions for over 10 years. Due to the secluded location of the complex, the children can play undisturbed in the yard and the parents can sit wonderfully in the shade of the trees in summer and unwind. The rooms are clean and tidy, the breakfast is good and if you want to turn on the grill in the evening, there is more than enough grilled food (including vegetarian/vegan), various salads, bread, vegetables and fruit.

We spent wonderful days in the house. It was a great starting point for many activities. The staff was super friendly and we didn't miss anything. Rooms were clean and tidy and the breakfast was balanced and very filling!! We can recommend this house to everyone!! We'll definitely be back!!!

A cozy little leisure home. The leader makes a lot possible and always has a good tip for excursions. The location in the small town of Gernrode right next to the old collegiate church is great and the outdoor area with a wall around it is also great for children!

I've been lucky enough to have been able to stay here several times as part of community retreats - a beautiful house, well-equipped conference rooms, delicious food, friendly people and simple and even more comfortable rooms that invite you to relax and reflect. The immediately neighboring and extremely worth seeing collegiate church of St. Cyriacus houses the oldest surviving German replica of the holy grave of Jerusalem.

I went on a school trip with a 7th grade class to the Cyriakushaus Gernrode. The rooms are nice and almost all have their own bathroom. A very special atmosphere is created in the old walls. There are many opportunities to let off steam on the grounds: volleyball, basketball, table tennis, trampoline or even plenty of loungers to relax on. The food was varied and special requests (gluten-free, vegetarian) were catered for. We took a very interesting tour of the collegiate church and explored the small town. Quedlinburg is easily accessible by public transport.

There is nothing negative to say about the rooms or the area. Everything great. However, the service is subpar! It has already happened to us twice: reserved 2 years in advance for a family reunion. It's just bad luck if the tenant has the chance to earn a few euros more through an even larger group. Then the reservation is canceled without further ado.

So... it's super unhygienic, there's no toilet paper, there's dirt everywhere and the beds are broken apart. The drains are so clogged with hair that you can see them all the way up and the water can't flow out. There are two sinks in the bathrooms, each of which shares a soap dispenser that is not filled. The warm food either tastes like nothing, or not at all like what it is supposed to be. The cooks are just as unhygienic and fill the plates with their bare hands (without gloves or other tools.) Cooking pasta is an over-exertion and not possible. The WiFi is free, but not secure because you don't have to register and it only extends to the second room in the lower hallway and doesn't go upstairs at all. The breakfast is delicious and has a wide variety.
