Mentioned 4 days ago that they wanted to cancel the room or move it to another date.Today, after consulting with the hotel, I received the information to change the date via Boocking and the response from the hotel via Boocking chat was that it was now too late to move the room to November.I travel a lot for work and have never experienced such poor service.Hands off!

The branch of the Hotel Werratal in Allendorf is a half-timbered house that has been renovated with great attention to detail, not far from the main building. The room wasn't overly large, but completely sufficient. A table and a shelf for luggage would have been nice, but would have been difficult to implement due to the space available. The sanitary area is tastefully designed and barrier-free. The only drawback: a fairly steep staircase to the upper floors.The staff in the main building were extremely friendly and helpful, and the individual breakfast was plentiful and excellent.

This is the second time I have been very impressed by this hotel.The room we had on our first stay was great.The second time we were there with several people, so I can say:This also applies to all other rooms. Very tastefully decorated, cozy, chic in a modern way, and clean. This applies to both the bedrooms and the bathrooms, which also have pleasantly spacious showers.The breakfast is unique in its variety and quality and is in a class of its own! Some local specialties are also included. It stands out very positively from the average breakfast that is now available in most hotels.

Beautiful room in a renovated old building that has been furnished with a lot of style. Everything clean and well maintained. The only thing we were missing was a larger shelf for glasses and cell phones, it was just way too small. Breakfast was good and staff very friendly

Super nice, very centrally located hotel. The rooms are new and very stylishly renovated, the breakfast and dinner in the attached restaurant are great and very tasty. Staff is super nice too! There's really nothing to complain about and we'll definitely be back!

Very high quality furnishings, tasteful with attention to detail. Central location, quiet and not far from the restaurant. Very rich breakfast, every wish was fulfilled. The restaurant is definitely recommended. Staff super friendly and accommodating.All in all a wonderful place to stay.Gladly again!

Based on a telephone miscommunication, we looked into a human abyss of unsurpassable hospitality, bullying and unprofessionalism. An unappealing breakfast with fermented fruit salad (from the evening before?), empty and unfilled honey and jam supplies rounded off our stay. The beautifully designed rooms cannot make up for this. No recommendation.
