Thieves visited the hotel room and nothing was done at the reception, not even an apology

This is possibly the worst place I've ever spent any nights in. All time. Overpriced, rude staff. Other guests that start their party at six in the morning.If this is a four star hotel i'm the king of Sweden. More like a second rate prison cell. The pictures have absolutely nothing to do with reality. The price is borderline to criminal. The fact q factory stopped responding to anything but positive reviews sais something. You did answer the first years on negative ones, how come you stopped?Water clogged shower with loads of mould. Dirty towels. Concrete floor and paper thin plaster walls with marks, cracks and blood stains. Now we have the joy of listening to edm from our room the entire night until five this morning. Avoid at all costs.

Thieves get in very easily from the balcony, it seems. Lost a lot of very expensive stuff and also the way to get back to my home country! The workers here won't even try to help to find out who it was! Will be getting the police involved.

Nice hotel with industrial concept.You can open the window to get some fresh air.There is a heater in the room as well.They will provide a taxi based on request.There are many nearby restaurants.And of course, plenty of shop and supermarket you can reach by walking distance.On top of that, it is close to public transportation such as train, tram and bus.Will be back for sure!

Very nice hotel near oostpark, the room is quite spacious and clean, the walls are a little thin so you could hear a little noise but nothing major. Welcoming and helpful staff. Excellent location, less than 5 minutes walk away is the tram stop that passes through Leidseplein, in 20 minutes you are in the centre. Plus there are many shops within a few minutes' walk and also cafes as well as the park.

No air conditionerLight in the room is way too dim.The furnishings, floor, wall, ceiling are as raw as a site under construction.Located at a place quite accessable through public transportation to Amsterdam downtown.Can't deny this is a place for music lovers, but it's not a hotel for travelers who need a good night's rest.Internet is not working. Elevator is broken that I have to carry my luggage from 3rd floor to 4th floor.Can't imagine that paying 141 euro (city tax excluded) and I can't even get a hair dryer after showering.Good point: staff at reception accept luggage storage.

We rented a double room in this hotel. The staff is friendly, Wi-Fi is acceptable, and the coil in the shower is warm. This is where the good ends.The walls are made of plasterboard or even plywood. You can hear everything that is happening in the next room. At night there is a roar as if elephants are running. It's impossible to sleep!There is no kettle in the room, one chair, one tiny table, a small refrigerator with a pile of ice, they gave out one key card for two, the light is bad, the safe works only occasionally.I don't recommend it, there are too many disadvantages.

Pros: the staff are very nice and polite. Couldn’t help get us an extra fan for the room, but that is more of a management problem than a staff problem. The room was safe, cleaned every day, and we got fresh towels every day. The hotel is within a short tram ride to central Amsterdam. The room also has a fridge, so we could store our food there.Cons: the room was nothing like what was shown on the website. Barely any decorations, lighting was poor, and though the room was clean of dirt, there were stains on the wall and ceiling that can be easily cleaned or fixed, but clearly not a priority for management, but certainly takes away from the experience. The hotel, bathroom, and to a lesser extent, the rooms have a weird, musty smell. We didn’t get breakfast, because it was very expensive and it was cheaper and nicer to get breakfast elsewhere. The walls were very thin and you could hear and feel neighbours in the room next door. Our biggest issue was the heat. The window barely opens and there was one fan. For the hottest nights we asked for an extra fan, but there wasn’t one. We ended up sleeping with wet towels over us to cool us down, but we were still very hot and the room was stuffy.Tips for improvement: with global warming, it is imperative to invest in AC or other cooling technology. At least for now, it is recommended to get extra fans to have on hand for very hot days. Invest in a fresh coat of paint to refresh the rooms and put in some decorations shown on the website to make it look more welcoming. Something needs to be done about ventilation and smells, because it is off putting.Value for money: the hotel is relatively cheap compared to other hotels in Amsterdam, but knowing what I know now, I probably would’ve booked somewhere nicer and further away. The photos are very misleading and wish I had read more Google reviews before booking.If they fix the aforementioned problems, I would be willing to stay again, but until then, I will find somewhere else to stay, even if it’s more expensive or further away.

Quirky hotel, industrial aesthetics, and unusual a bit far out but train to the center only takes 10 mins. Was a bit noisy, but we didn't mind.

The hotel is an imposition. I wouldn't even call it a hotel. It looks good in the pictures. However, the pictures do not come close to reality. The price is exorbitant! Unfortunately we are in Amsterdam on business and almost everything is fully booked because it is Pride. When we got to our first room, I was so disgusted that we asked for another room. The second room was a little better, or the walls weren't as disgusting as the one before. The gentleman at the reception was really incredibly friendly and accommodating, he also offered us free breakfast. Still, you're really afraid that you'll catch something here. The rooms don't look like they're being cleaned. We found hair in the bathroom, on the mattress, the sheets, boogers on the wall and leftover shampoo in the shower. Never again! Opposite is Action, where I first went to buy disinfection, then I cleaned a few things myself. 🙃 Whoever cleans here should be paid more to do it properly.
