Butcher shop, restaurant and hotel - 3 in 1. Unfortunately we had already booked a hotel, but we were here for dinner and it was delicious. Bavarian home cooking, the way you want it, in a quiet location with a beautiful view over the town.The hospitality was very friendly and we will be back, then with an overnight stay and a stopover at the butcher's shop. 👍

The reception was a little tense, as the landlady's mentality is somewhat peculiar. As the process progressed, the ice was broken and it quickly became apparent that the landlady was very nice and friendly. The rooms are very well equipped and newly renovated, the bathroom is clean and has an attractive atmosphere. The food for the evening is good, traditional and tastes very good. The breakfast at a very reasonable price, also very good and sufficient. I can really only recommend this house, thank you again 👍😎

The hotel rooms are modern, clean and you have a beautiful view over the Illertal.Thanks to the direct connection to the in-house butcher shop and inn, high-quality and regionally sustainable products are offered.Overall a cozy atmosphere. A direct connection to the A7 motorway is only 1km away.

The food was relatively average. However, what should be a disappointment for the inn is the behavior of the staff. Criticism of the food is responded to in an unfriendly and rude manner. The comments that this can happen in other restaurants don't exactly show customer-oriented behavior.Eating here is not recommended.

We each ordered soup and an onion roast.I found a hair in the soup. I could still see past that. The service could have just failed.The onion roast, on the other hand, was a total disaster.Of the three medium onion roasts we ordered, all three were more than done. All three were so blessed that we had problems cutting the meat with a knife. It was simply inedible.I don't want to leave the waiter's statement after the complaint that this can happen with beef. If the chef had cut the meat thicker, he would have at least had the chance to fry it medium rare as ordered. It would still have been sinewy and he should have seen that before roasting. Personally, I wouldn't dare charge €18.50 for it.However, that was just the food. The service cannot be surpassed in terms of audacity.After the complaint, she took the plates into the kitchen and discussed them with the chef. So she came back and wanted to explain to us that the meat was okay, but she still offered us a new one. We politely declined because we had already lost our appetite and the hope that the chef could do better. Now comes the audacity:She said we shouldn't speak badly about the inn now because we were offered new meat. And in a tone that is so inappropriate in a conversation with a customer that it is precisely this announcement that makes me write this review.

-There were some people sitting on the reserved table when we arrived. On not on.- The decoration on the tablecloth consisted of a glass with a plastic flower. Not even a tea light, not a table runner, nothing that somehow makes the whole thing look more loving.Tea lights don't cost much. 100 pieces 4 euros in the rewe- The tablecloth next to the table was dirty-Drinks below the filling line.But a small drink was brought to compensate.-the cyclists were well mixed. Not too sweet, refreshing.-Damp, dirty beer mats were carelessly thrown on the table in two piles-Cutlery 9 pieces for 10 peopleThe side salad was too salty for several people. I suspect it wasn't mixed properly.Otherwise the food itself was very good.Meat tender and tasty, beautifully fried medium.But what still amazes me are the soggy, still wet beer mats.😳😳😳In every pub or kebab shop I've ever been to, I've always gotten fresh or at least clean food. 1 small stain or not, no one says anything.Even on the ship there were fresh beer mats. And God knows that wasn't the best pub in Vöhringen.I would have preferred to take the family and look for another restaurant.Because the ambience was so disappointing.It was just a loveless table.Luckily, the food was able to lift our spirits a bit.Meat medium and tender throughout.With good food in your stomach, you can easily overlook minor mistakes (less serious ones)But compared to similar restaurants I've visited, small old houses with a bourgeois menu, it was very spartan here.The old restaurants in particular exude such a pleasant, cozy feeling.But this also simply includes some decoration. Old tools, old painted milk cans e.g., some straw, pictures, candles, flowers or herbs etc.
