Camping Affolderner Lake

That was our very first vacation in August 2023! We've been looking forward to it for a year and restored our caravan. For a long time we had no idea where we should go to spend our first vacation.When he finished, we knewWe wanted to visit a friend who we met over the internet, more specifically through the dogs Babbel.As said, done, it was finally time to get out of everyday life.Booking at short notice is no problem or extending your holiday at short notice.The owner is very friendly and above all helpful :)We had a great spot close to the sanitary facilities.Overall, we were there for a week and had a really great time.During that time we realized what we still needed and what we had taken with us unnecessarily. So as a first time camper you have to get in first.😂At the time we were there, a certain Markus steiniger was there and he was putting on a Yodel show.He called himself a rascal. I don't think I knew him, but it was amusing.We then really felt like getting something to eat from the restaurant. It tasted really delicious and the price was fair too.shortly after ten, it was quiet at night. In my opinion we could have continued. It was really funny especially since we had our trailer right across from the stage.😂Our dog is a bit skittish. But that didn't bother him. It's good to put up posters about the show. We were informed that there would be fireworks. Shortly before the fireworks started, we drove away with the dog so as not to scare him.Thanks for the good communication about when exactly the fireworks will take place, the timing was perfect.A day or two later there were multiple shots at lunchtime, these coming from a shooting club that was shooting at the campsiteI have no idea why they did that, there were definitely reasons, but I just wish I had known beforehand about the poster or prior announcement, no matter what.the sanitary facilities were actually okay.It was all there washing machine,Dryer, sink, for washing upDog shower, toilets and showers for men and women separately.The ladies in charge of the sanitary facilities were very friendly to me. On our departure day, we took the caravan outside before the gate closed.At this point: (ATTENTION, note the times, the barrier closes at 12 p.m. and only opens in the afternoon.So either you park outside if possible if you have to leave or leave early or only when the barrier is open again.)However, I still had a shower brand and I wanted to still use it.Unfortunately, the showers were already closed. (At this point, please note the times as the toilets will be closed at midday.These will be cleaned.)The ladies let me in after they had eaten so that I could freshen up before I left. thank you for that!My friend. However, had a discussion with a lady. I don't know what it was about, but he told me the lady was unfriendly, which I found very unfortunate.The prices were really more than fair!Thank you for the great holiday, we would love to come back.

Were there with the camper so I can't rate the rooms. Service impeccable. Ideal location for bike tours in all directions. It wasn't enough for me for a longer stay. Restaurant because ofRenovation closed but we knew that beforehand, so we can't rate it either. Toilets/showers/washing up area all very clean and very usable.

Quiet, clean place. We received a very warm welcome with our tractor team. Only met nice people here. The food is very good and plentiful. Unfortunately, the WiFi is a bit too expensive. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Very friendly and competent staff. The place and facilities are very clean and well maintained. We'd love to come back.

Very nice service, sanitary facilities are as good as new and are cleaned regularly, the location of the Platte is a good starting point for bike tours, and there are good opportunities for walking dogs.

Very nice campsite, were here at the end of September 2024, can only recommend the place, the operators and the s'Stadl and keep it up

We can fully recommend this campsite. The entire site is lovingly prepared, the sanitary facilities are modern and absolutely clean, the food in the small restaurant on the site is very tasty and inexpensive, and the operators are very friendly and helpful. The location of the site is ideal as a starting point for hikes and bike tours. We would like to thank you very much for the lovely stay.
