We were surprised at how big and very clean our room was. 10 points for that. Upon request, we were allowed to go out onto the private terrace to smoke a cigarette in the evening. One day we had visitors and they also offered free parking. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed it. Even the correction of the tourist tax was taken into account without any problems and we got our money back. We really liked it and would book the Pension Goldstück again. The family-run Pension Goldstück in Bad Schandau is centrally located, has its own parking spaces in the immediate vicinity and shopping facilities and various restaurants can be reached in just a few minutes on foot. The Elbe is also only a few 100m away and is ideal for a walk.The rooms are comfortably furnished and, above all, clean. When the window is open you can hear the traffic noise from the adjacent main road during the day, but when the window is closed or at night you can no longer hear it.The owners are very friendly and open-minded. If you have any questions or requests, they are available at any time.The breakfast buffet offers plenty of choice and is served in the associated rustic restaurant (a few 100m from the guesthouse).Dogs are also welcome, both in the guesthouse and in the restaurant.The Pension Goldstück is definitely recommended.

We were also guided by the positive feedback and the award as “guest favorite”, but we cannot share these reviews: the much-praised courtesy, friendliness and support..We didn't feel much. Breakfast wasn't in the guesthouse, the buffet really couldn't be described as a "rich offering" and in addition to the background noise due to the location on the street and the roofing company on the gable, it also really bothered us that we We had to more or less step over the landlord's pair of shoes several times a day on our way to the third floor. Sorry, but this together won't bring us here a second time.

We booked this guesthouse based on the very good reviews and were not disappointed. We were warmly welcomed and said goodbye. Our room with bathroom and kitchen was very, very clean. The beds are really comfortable and the pillows too. This is not always the case in accommodation. The location is central, the traffic cannot be heard when the windows are closed. The food and service in the associated restaurant, a few minutes' walk away, is also recommended. Breakfast in the cozy room also offers everything you need to start the day. The hosts are present themselves and take excellent care of their guests. We had a great weekend there and would come back.

Spent a lovely 3 days in the guesthouse.Arrival is easy, parking is directly opposite the guesthouse.Clean spacious room and bathroom.Owner friendly and helpful.Breakfast is good and egg dishes are freshly prepared.Pension right on B172, therefore a bit noisy

A weekend in Bad Schandau took us to this small guesthouse.Very nice operators, good breakfast and a great location and connection made our stay very pleasant.The operators are very courteous, communicative and very concerned with the well-being of the guests.The location is perfect, close to the ferry and bus stop, so you can also use public transport to get there. There are also shopping opportunities, restaurants and jobs nearby. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the thermal baths if you stroll.The breakfast was very balanced and there was something for everyone. Very good 👍The rooms are cozy and very clean, the beds are comfortable and the storage space in the bathroom is wonderful. Only the place on the sofa was very cold, perhaps due to poor insulation, but that's complaining at a high level.Thank you for the great stay in your little guesthouse.Best regards

We felt very comfortable. The rooms were fine and clean, we were able to check in at 2 p.m., the hosts were very friendly and the winter hiking map that we received upon arrival served us well. The breakfast was hotel standard. We already know a few accommodations in Bad Schandau and were very satisfied. Gladly again!

After a three-day stay, a beautiful journey ends here at some point.The room was very clean (no traffic jams, no dirt, nothing). Despite there being a main road right next to it, it was very quiet (probably well insulated windows).The breakfast was very extensive for a guesthouse and was (almost) at hotel level. You were asked whether there were any additional requests for breakfast, be it coffee, tea, egg dishes.Arrival and departure went smoothly. Parking spaces for cars across the street weren't a problem either.For the price of an overnight stay, I can only warmly recommend the guesthouse, you feel comfortable here.If you get hungry in the evening, it's definitely worth stopping off at the restaurant "Zum Roten Haus", less than 500 meters away, where you can enjoy good home-style cooking.See you next time.
