We had a very nice holiday in Bad Schandau. The staff was consistently very friendly and accommodating. Hospitality is still very important here.I can't understand the negative comments about this at all.Our room was sparkling clean and spacious. And the room was regularly offered to be cleaned. Special requests were fulfilled promptly and we were always given very friendly advice when we had questions about excursions. The location is perfect for exploring Saxon Switzerland. Price/performance ratio is very good. I would deduct half a point for the interior design, which seems a little out of date. Stay as you are, we'll be back.

It was a nice holiday, we were completely pampered by the Kurparkstübel, great breakfast, great dinner, everything was very well maintained, very clean, friendly staff. The Kurparkstübel is always recommended.

Thanks to the recessions, I booked this small Kurparkstübl and we were very satisfied. (August 2024)Clean, large apartment upstairs, very friendly to children too, breakfast was sufficient, food was great...quiet location...Valley railway right in front of it, a lot of things can be reached on foot :)Booking stated my child was 0 years old, despite being 6 years old and there were no problems :))Thank you for the nice stay at the nice family business :)We have already recommended you to others 👍

Excellent thick schnitzel with egg and fried potatoes for 17.90.Friendly waiter. We had not made a reservation, but we were given a table on the terrace at 5:00 PM, which had been reserved for 7:00 PM.

We were here in April 2017 and I have to say it was wonderful! I was absolutely thrilled! From the food to the room. Dinner was perfect and the room is really big and everything is really comfortable. I'd really like to come back! The beer garden of the Kurparkstüble in the Bad Schandauer Kurpark is also highly recommended, which is a nice alternative to the restaurants in the “city center”.

Just wanted to have a quick bite to eat. We reserved a table in advance. The overwhelmed staff knew nothing more about this. After we found a table by chance, we were simply ignored. The staff walked past our table several times and didn't even bring a card. After more than 20 minutes we got up and left disappointed. I can therefore under no circumstances recommend this house.

We stayed in one of the holiday apartments in the Kurparkstübl in July 2024. Everything was clean and comfortably furnished. The breakfast was plentiful and good. The food in the restaurant is simply delicious. Everyone was always very friendly. The location directly on the Kirnitzschtalbahn is practical as a starting point for hikes.
