It couldn't be more unfriendly! The staff here is so unfriendly and dismissive that you actually want to leave straight away, unfortunately I couldn't cancel the booking on site without any costs. …

The food was good but it just took a lot of time to receive the order. But they treated us really well.

We had breakfast here. Overall it was okay, unfortunately the eggs were very dry and the orange juice wasn't that tasty for us.

My future wife, our dog and I spent 10 days here and would like to report about it:On the day of arrival we were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Schmickerath and her son and informed about our accommodation and the most important organizational matters. Our apartment was very well furnished with everything you need. Kitchen utensils for cooking (pots), tea towels and cutlery were all available. There was also a coffee machine, refrigerator and an oven. Beach towels, hand towels and bed linen were also provided. We brought everything with us to make the dog feel comfortable. We received tips for excursions from the Schmickerath family and also learned a lot about the family. The menu is very well sorted and all dishes are freshly prepared, even with special requests. The portions are large and the ingredients are fresh and of very good quality. The drink selection is also very good. In case of intolerance (lactose), you were allowed to use your own milk.Much of the town can be reached without using a car. If you don't want to dine on site you can take a nice walk along the Rursee to the yacht club, 650m away. The Café Schröder and a snack bar can also be easily reached in 10 to 15 minutes on foot. You then have to take the car to the nearest supermarket.Security is well ensured through video surveillance and signs that are signposted. There is also a lot of information in the reception brochure, e.g. B. Doctors included. Conclusion: The family looked after us very well and had an open ear for everything. They are also very helpful. You couldn't ask for a better family. We will also spend our honeymoon here. Thank you again for the great time 👍😊 Petra and Roland

A beautiful house but in need of renovation.Certainly a gold mine if you forget the boss. We were there for a weekend... Unfriendly is not even an expression. We were very shocked by the way guests were treated. Insults and accusations are unfortunately the order of the day. "You can apparently be happy if you are allowed to be there". The rest of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. However, we would not recommend anyone to spend their time here, except perhaps for a cup of coffee. The house is very idyllic and with a little love can certainly be converted into a great location.

Very unfriendly landlord. When asked about a better room, the answer was: "You'll survive." The toilet door couldn't be closed, there was a gas container in front of the window, everything was very shabby. Beds under the low wooden roof, very warm.

Aggressive disinterested staff, not worth repeating. I was verbally attacked out of nowhere by the server from a distance, in a loud tone without a smile when he brought my simple dish to the table, and told me that I should not have any objection to my dish, which I did not have in the first place. A very antisocial attitude.----EDIT ON THE OWNER'S REACTION:No, your interpretation is totally wrong, and again based on a wrong reflection. And you lie in the reactions of multiple guests I see on other comments of other guests. We did not had a comment or thought in your wrong delivery (that looked different from the small menu) we where content when you delivered it on table,We said nothing, not even wrinkles on our eyebrows.I think you had a bad day, but then don't put your bad behavior of moods, or situation on or in the face or moods of other guests. There was nothing wrong in our opinion with the food, YOU made a problem, and YOU where VERY aggressive by saying that we don't need to comment or suggest anything on the food, you suggested that we didn't have any right to speak if it comes to the food we paid for. VERY a social, just like the not honest reaction on your comment on my first review. The customer is King, but the duty to treat the chef and staff with respect, we did that too, because we had no comments or comments about the food. But out of nowhere we were attacked that we had to keep our mouths shut about the dish served, very aggressive and antisocial... if you have booked a pleasant day or holiday in this area, then I would not sit here, you will be treated here and treated falsely. Without respect.I heard of two other customers that we saw later on the day, that this is a daily routine to guests, from the guy that works there.According to the reviews on Google, customers are not treated with respect and friendliness. So strange, that's not how you treat guests, is it?
