You come out of the hotel room and you're right on the lake, a fantastic location. Went there over a long weekend and felt very comfortable and ate delicious food. We will be back definitely.

It is a small half-timbered house with around 10 rooms on the upper floor and holiday apartments (number unknown) on the lower floor, which is getting old. The room we moved into was very small. If the suitcase was on the floor, the door would no longer open. It was equipped with a tiny TV that sat on the table. Only the “GEZ channels”, ARD, ZDF etc. were running and they were spread out wildly. The mattress was a bit too hard for me and the bed wobbled. The bathroom was renovated, clean and top. You felt like you were in another hotel. The breakfast is economical. There were rolls and croissants (very tasty), jam, scrambled eggs, bacon and cold cuts.Dinner can be good or bad. My partner has a wonderful schnitzel, whereas mine was drowned in oil.The outside terrace with a wonderful view of the lake is positive. The prices are reasonable. The ferry pier is 2 minutes away. There is free WiFi, which works well. The owner is very friendly and accommodating and there is nothing to complain about. All in all, you get the feeling that the hotel thrives on its good location. The stay was still very nice and recommended for a weekend. If the rooms were renovated like the bathroom, that would be an asset.
