If you could give 6 stars, we would!After just 4 nights, Haus Iris felt at home for us. The main responsibility for this was the owner Mr. Bär, who always cares about the well-being of his guests.With a lot of commitment, joy, heart and humor. ❤️We were also happy about: the breakfast, the daily service in the room, the parking space right in front of the house, the use of the AktivCard, etc.See you soon in Bodenmais!

We, my wife and I, spent a lovely week in the Iris guesthouse in July. We can only recommend this house. Nice room with a large south-facing balcony (the bathroom is unfortunately a bit small), very clean, very rich breakfast and a good price/performance ratio. In addition, there is attentive, warm support.On my wife's birthday your place was at the breakfast tableSurprisingly decorated with flowers, champagne and cake.Our conclusion: We felt comfortable!THANK YOU to the guesthouse Iris and the Bär couple and ALL THE BEST!M. and H. We are simply thrilled with Bodenmais and the lovely host family Bär!!!It's always an experience.The Bär family takes excellent care of us guests, the breakfast is a hit, there is something for everyone, so nothing is left to be desired.The location of the house is ideal, everything is within walking distance.We're looking forward to seeing you again.

We had a very nice time. The breakfast is sufficient and when it runs out, you fill it up again immediately. It's only a few minutes to the town center, you can easily walk there and you'll always find something delicious to eat.

Guests of the friendly Swabians. Cozy and familiar accommodation in the heart of Lower Bavaria. Warm welcome and with every day you feel more at home. Clean and typically Bavarian accommodation, very tidy rooms. Rich and delicious breakfast. The lounge can be used at any time and drinks are available at fair prices. Each guest receives an activeCARD, which allows free entry to a variety of locations. E.g. continuous free travel on public transport. Free entry to almost all swimming pools, zoo, treetop walk. Bicycle rental and ski equipment, etc.

We were guests of the Bär family for a week in February 2019 and felt very comfortable from the first day. We had a cozy double room with a modern bathroom and a large balcony where you could enjoy the sun in the afternoon.The breakfast buffet was lovingly prepared and left nothing to be desired.In the evenings the common room invited you to linger. Mr. Bär always provided us with useful information about Bodenmais and the active card. All around a great vacation. With so much hospitality it wasn't easy to say goodbye but we'll see each other again next year!

A very nice and quiet house. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom is very small, but as a very overweight woman I had no problems showering or getting ready there.The breakfast was nothing special but there was everything you need for a good start to the day.Mr. Bär was very friendly and had good tips for excursion destinations. We will respond to your wishes if you have them.We'll definitely be happy to come back.

A very nice, lovingly furnished guesthouse. With two very friendly homeowners who give you such a warm welcome! The breakfast is small but delicious, as it should be, the best price-performance ratio that I know of.
