Kantorhof - the adventure and holiday Farm

This was our first time here, but we will come again. Anyone who is here once becomes a repeat offender. The holiday apartment was well equipped, nothing was missing. Anita takes loving care of the guests and is always approachable. The farm is fairly centrally located and from here you can quickly reach many excursion points. It's wonderfully quiet here. We enjoyed being woken up in the morning with a rooster.Thank you for the wonderful days and many impressions.

We felt very comfortable at the Kantorhof with Anita. The holiday apartment was very well equipped, the seclusion and peace on the farm was a dream and Anita's homemade rolls in the morning were absolutely delicious. There is a lot on offer for the children with the many animals and the great playground.We'd love to come back! See you soon :)

We have been here twice in a row and will do so again next year.The Kantorhof is in a great location between Tönning and St. Peter Ording. Everything can be reached in just a few minutes by car. On the farm itself you will be warmly welcomed by Anita. The apartments are beautifully furnished, perfect in size and, above all, clean. There is enough to discover for young and old children. Ponies, chickens and their chicks and many more. The beautiful, large playground is a highlight for the children.What we like most is Anita's loving nature. She is the soul of this farm and you can tell that everywhere. About long, nice conversations, how she deals with the children and what program is offered for the children. From pony rides to interesting facts about the farm and animals to a campfire with stick bread, it won't be boring here.It was the perfect summer vacation for us as a family.

This is the second time we have been to the Kantorhof with our children. It's just great here. Pure relaxation and action. 2 weeks always feel like 4 or 5 weeks of vacation because you experience so much. Even a farm day always offers variety and great opportunities to discover something new. We feel super comfortable. The apartment is well furnished and if something is missing, Anita is happy to help. There are fresh homemade rolls every day. Super tasty with a fresh chicken egg on the side.The location is very central on the Eiderstedt peninsula, so you can quickly drive in all directions to experience something. Anita also has lots of tips about where you should go and what is worth it.Our children wanted to go back after we had already been on the way home for an hour.Feel warmly hugged from a distance. We were able to celebrate a wonderfully relaxed New Year's Eve with our dogs at Anita's at the Kantorhof.The farm is beautifully located and we felt absolutely welcome! Anita is an incredibly warm and great host. Our holiday apartment also left nothing to be desired and was lovingly designed. You can switch off there and enjoy the peace and nature. If it is too quiet for you, you can also quickly drive to Sankt Peter Ording, Husum or other places. ☺️ On the farm you could buy fresh eggs, jam, honey and our personal highlight, freshly baked rolls. It was a really great break from the stressful everyday life and we will definitely be back! Thank you again, dear Anita

We have been in Kantorhof from April 2-6, with our two children. The surroundings are beautiful and the house was good. But I have to say that the state of the farm and the NO activities have totally disappointed us. It is true that the weather was not good because it rained from time to time, but that is not something strange in the area. The owner of the farm was sick, and we did not see her until the third day. She didn't have anyone from her family or workers to show us around the farm during these days that she was unwell. We arrived and we had to ask everything to another family we met one day and they were very friendly. That was the only day my children were able to ride the ponies because this family took them out for a ride. The rest of the days, even though we had asked the landlady via WPP if they could take them out, she told us no, that she was not feeling well, but she did not organize it with her husband who was also on the farm, or with anyone else. Therefore, the fantastic pony rides that they advertise on their website did not correspond to our reality. The cows did not leave the barn, nor did the chickens. We saw all the animals locked up.The feeling was of abandonment on the part of the owners. She didn't even send us an email asking us if everything was ok upon our arrival, we only saw her the third day she left the house and yes, she showed our children the animals. But we don't feel welcomed. We understand that the lady was sick and could not take care of it, but we do not understand that in a place where you go for what they offer on their website, there is no one who can take care of it in case the farmer is not willing. We feel abandoned. The fourth day, before we left, the day was very sunny. She was already fine because when we left with the suitcases she was having breakfast outdoors with other people. At that moment we would have loved if he had offered us a pony ride with the children, after having told us for two consecutive days that it couldn't be. But he didn't do it. He was in charge of charging me for the service of the sheets and towels, and little else. It would have been a detail on their part, either not to have charged them or to have given us a discount for not being able to offer us any of the activities they offer on their website.I also add that the common facilities of the farm were somewhat abandoned.

Wonderful farm in the middle of nowhere. I was there for almost 2 weeks and immediately felt comfortable. I helped feed the animals and went for a lot of walks in the great outdoors. Plus spacious apartments, also for large families. Extremely nice hosts. St. Peter-Ording can be easily reached by car. Gladly again.

We have been going to Anita's farm regularly for many years and it is always great. We highly recommend the nature around the farm, the North Sea and also the activities for the children that Anita offers on the farm depending on the season.

The Kantorhof is simply a perfect vacation spot: the peace and quiet to switch off, the animals for the children, the wide view and, above all, the heart of the farm: Anita. She has the manner of a perfect hostess, is so attentive to the children, is always ready for a chat and makes the stay eventful and feel good. Stick bread, homemade rolls in the morning, fresh eggs, honey and jams for sale, feeding the animals, an afternoon of crafts, making butter with the children... The apartment facing the garden is super cozy and we had 7 days of blue skies. Happy!
