The pension is very old and traditionally run. Don‘t expect any fancy interior or pretentious friendliness. However, the lady running the place was incredibly hospitable and forthcoming. A place with a very homey and authentic atmosphere and great food. Had to substract one star because one of the corridors smelled kinda funny, (but the rooms and bathroom were tidy and clean!) For the price and at the end of a long hike it was the perfect place. Don’t recommend if you want something super modern or polished.

Great accommodation on the Goldsteig, with an incredible view from the room! And the landlady was very hospitable.

Wonderful hostess who takes excellent care of your guesthouse. Unfortunately, there are only a few such originals left today. The Cordon Bleu was excellent and we don't even need to talk about the prices 👍 The beds were comfortable and the accommodation was clean. I wish you all the best.

The lovely woman makes very, very good schnitzels. And thank you very much again for letting us take one with us, the junior ate that too. They were the best schnitzels in years. The furnishings are from before, but that's what gives it the flair. There are only 3 dishes but they are made with a lot of love and really delicious. The total insider tip here in the area.

Food is very, very tasty and cheap. Rooms are a bit old. The waitress is also the boss in the house. Friendly, nice, helpful. If you don't necessarily need luxury, this is the place for you. A particular advantage is the direct location on the Goldsteig long-distance hiking trail.

The food is simply unbeatable. Freshly prepared, every dish is a dream, especially the schnitzel. I've eaten many schnitzels in all parts of the country but none come close to Andrea's (cook and boss). We have been visiting this guesthouse every year since 2007 and feel very comfortable there. For the food 5 stars and the Rattay family another 5 stars.👍

Anyone expecting a luxury guesthouse here is in the wrong place. This is hiking accommodation and correspondingly rustic. There is a bed and a sink in the room. Shower/toilet are used by all guests. A problem? Not for me. There are hardly any guests there and I would describe the accommodation as an insider tip. The landlady cooks uniquely. The furniture and style of the house are original retro 70s. If you don't like it you just have to stay away. My bed was 190cm long. I'm 191 and it was just fine. I would go again at any time and can only recommend it for hikers looking for accommodation for one night. Located directly on the Goldsteig!

Very outdated guesthouse whose furnishings date back to the 1970s. Everything clean, but loveless. Breakfast very simple and unloving (no real milk, no fruit...). The beds are a disaster with a mega sagging rust. And the landlady suddenly wanted €44 per person in a double room for one night ("yes because of Corona"). So I really don't recommend the store. I can't rate dinner.

A simple house with a lot of heart. Anyone hiking on the Goldsteig should definitely plan an overnight stay here. Because the guesthouse is right on the path, the food is delicious, the beds are soft and you just feel welcome and cared for. The landlady at the Osserblick is an original. Get involved and you will experience one of the most beautiful overnight stays on the Goldsteig.

Very nice landlady. Get the best schnitzel for a good price. The rooms are very simple, but sufficient for one night.
