This was the fourth time we have stayed in one of the holiday homes and, as always, we were very satisfied. Of course there are certainly modern houses and yes there is no WiFi. But that's clearly how it's communicated.

Small holiday home with four beds and lots of space. Our house hadn't been cleaned very well, but after 30 minutes of cleaning everything was sparkling clean. There is a television, but neither digital nor with an internet connection, so few channels and snowy reception, but we didn't come to the Allgäu to watch television.The furnishings of the house are simple and functional. The swimming pool was closed and therefore we got a discount. The surroundings are very beautiful and the staff are consistently friendly and helpful. Many guests park in forbidden places, but the walk from the parking lot to the cottages can be strenuous if you live higher up the hill and have spent the day hiking.The food on site seems to be very good, but we were self-catering and visited inns and restaurants in the wider area.We would like to come back here at any time.

Well maintained facility. Not ultra-modern but functional and well-maintained. Good value for money for families. The indoor play area next to the restaurant is of course ideal - so you can enjoy your coffee in peace. The indoor swimming pool is also very nice (unfortunately closed this time due to the floods, but we know it from last time). Gladly again.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, children get their money's worth on the premises and it is also great for dogs.The grounds are clean and appear very well maintained.The bungalows offer everything you need for your daily needs and if you don't feel like self-catering, the complex's restaurant offers a large selection for everyone.You can choose your own bed linen, towels, etc. bring with you or use what is provided on site.Of course, if you rent a bungalow you have to be aware that you are self-sufficient and shouldn't expect a hotel (like with a holiday apartment 😉)Nevertheless, all kitchen appliances are available, as well as cookware and dishes.The only thing that could possibly be changed is the seating in the "living room area", which offers less of an opportunity for a family to relax comfortably after a day of hiking.We'd love to come back.

As those before Schreiber have already written, the system is getting quite old. Unfortunately we weren't so lucky with our bungalow. There were lots of cobwebs in it. This is probably not for people who are disgusted by spiders. You have to make your own beds. Unfortunately there was also a stain on the mattress and the mattresses are very uncomfortable. There is a coffee machine, toaster and kettle in the bungalow. No dishwashing liquid and no hand soap. Maybe you could consider putting something like that in there. The floor (tiles) was ice cold. My daughter had trouble getting her feet warm again at night. It's okay for a short stay, but I wouldn't spend a week on vacation in this complex.

Since the entire facility is on the mountain, it is difficult for severely disabled people to get from the car to the houses with luggage, as you cannot get directly to it. A luggage service would be helpful. Kitchen could be more dishes, glasses and sharp knives. Change of towels as well.

It's actually good with a dog because you can immediately access hiking trails.But if you want peace and quiet... you'd better not. The first 2 days were great, even if everything was a bit spartan and older. But we were surprised by several school classes here on the second day. The systems are actually offered for such things. Nobody told us (and management should reconsider this when hosting single guests), we were right next to the students' bungalows. No offense, but if I had known that I wouldn't have booked there. School classes are simply something different than other holiday guests. That's just how it is. And students should have fun too (everyone stuck to the rest times, but there were still water balloons).Not bad, but here you should separate the audience somehow. But for people who hike, sleep in peace and don't want any practical jokes, this isn't really the case. If they could have really told you in advance, it would not be recommended.Overall, the facility is a bit old. No WiFi in the rooms, and there are not dishwashers everywhere in the bungalows.The bungalow was very clean and everything was mostly in order. The surroundings are really lovely and great things to do are possible. The pool was closed due to storm damage, but this was announced to us and there were discounts. In my opinion, they solved this well. Overall, the staff are friendly, courteous and welcoming (reception area and also kitchen).Regardless, the price seems a bit too high for the accommodation standards.

We felt very comfortable. Check-in and check-out were quick. The bungalow has enough space for a family of 4 and is very well divided. The children were able to go to the outdoor and indoor playground independently. The landscape and nature are great for hiking and you can quickly get to Kempten, Isny, Oberstaufen, ... Gladly again!

In a quiet green area stands this village of well-furnished houses, a beautiful indoor swimming pool, a park with mini golf and children's games.....we never ate at the restaurant because we were out and about.....it's quite close with the car to towns to visit...friendly and helpful staff!!

We spent a week in a house at this beautiful holiday park. We had a house almost at the top with a large balcony and beautiful views of the hills. The park is 60 years old, but the houses are being renovated here and there and given a new coat of paint.The house we had was fine, very spacious, nice kitchen and utensils, nice beds and a bathroom with plenty of space. The dishwasher had to be turned on daily, this four-person house only had 4 of everything (4 knives, 4 plates, etc.). There were tea towels, towels, mop, dishcloth and dishwasher tablets and bed linen. The launderette is open every Friday to collect new bed linen. You can use the washing machine there for a fee.The roller shutters are ideal for some cooling in warm weather. Unfortunately, due to thunderstorm damage, there was no hot water and the swimming pool was closed, but we had been informed of this in advance. The reception staff were helpful and friendly.Plenty to see and do in the area; Isny, Wangen, Eiskogel, Schwarzer Grat, outdoor swimming pools. Also drove from there to Neuschwanstein and Füssen (45 minutes drive). There is a large Rewe supermarket in Isny. We bought sandwiches at the park itself at the bakery, which is open every morning between 7 and 9.Due to the damage caused by the storm, the park was only a quarter full, which made it very quiet and our children could play everywhere. Various play areas spread throughout the park, a beautiful football field and indoor playground.Because the houses are spread across the park, it is quite a climb to the top houses. From our house to the football field and the central parking areas was almost 800 meters.Because the park is car-free (only loading and unloading is allowed), it was safe for the children to walk through the park alone. A regular bus to Isny also stops at the park.The cheese farm within walking distance is nice to visit and have a drink and eat cake there. In the garden there are all kinds of play equipment for young children. From there you can continue walking, a 7km route with all kinds of play equipment for the children along the way.We also really liked the trumpet player who you heard playing every evening and who had a large terrace at the top of the street along the park where you could have a drink. And the cows with bells that stood in the meadow in the park.Had dinner one evening at the pizzeria in the street towards the park; make a reservation there, because we had not done so and that was quite difficult for the lady from the restaurant (we had a nice meal there).Even though the park is outdated and suffered a lot of damage due to the storm, we had a very nice week there and our children really enjoyed it.

Everything was perfect and the location is a perfect starting point for the entire region up to the Zugspitze.Of course, the bungalows are 60 year old but have been renovated again and again.A comfortable couch would have been great and not that half bench. But at the end of the day you went to bed very early anyway. Perfect for families. Child-friendly and everything your heart desires.We would come back to you at any time.Best regards

A beautiful Ferindorf that still has a charm from the 80s youth hostel. Something here and there could be renovated. But it is very clean.The swimming pool is small but nice. Since people are on the move a lot, the swimming pool is not always packed.The staff is very friendly, and the food in the restaurant is not very varied but very tasty.Update 2024.This is our second time here...Unfortunately nothing has happened at all. The inside of the bungalows has been painted in the meantime, but the furniture is still the same.In the evening there isn't even an outside restaurant where you can spend an evening.Whether rolls or pizza must be pre-ordered now, why?Why can't I call spontaneously and order a pizza?Mowing the lawn, keeping the sidewalks or patio in order is probably too much to ask.I have the feeling that the holiday park has not woken up from its Corona sleep, even though it has so much potential...Disappointingly, the food is no longer worth the money, 80 euros for 3 people including drinks, so I can also drive into town to eat.We didn't feel very comfortable and won't be going to this holiday park a third time.

We booked the Maierhöfen holiday club for the first time and are very excited. The bungalow was functionally and comfortably furnished and we found everything clean and tidy. The entire staff is very friendly and since we booked half board, we can now say something about the food. The kitchen is absolutely great. The food is of high quality, tasty and very varied. The cold salads and desserts could be taken from the buffet and the warm dishes were served on the plates by the staff. You could always catch up on something. Breakfast was also buffet style and was very rich and varied. The staff here is also particularly friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend the holiday club, especially for families with children.

We were at the Maierhöfen holiday club in June (before the holidays) and rented a bungalow for three people. I can understand both the negative and positive reviews and have thought for a long time whether to leave a review or not. But since I wasn't even asked at the end of our stay, I'll give my impressions like this.We had to change the first bungalow due to water damage - in principle this can happen due to the previous heavy rains, but you should still check the accommodations before putting families there. In this context, it would certainly be noticeable that the curtains had probably not been washed for a long time, as the bloody remains of insects could easily be counted. The numerous spiders and spider webs that hang between the paneling and the wall - or on the neon lights on the headboard of the bed - are no use. The switch for the lamps was already broken and poorly patched with duct tape.Likewise, the rubbers and joints in the showers (we saw at least 2 shower cubicles) would have to be replaced as they were already very dirty (mouldy).Unfortunately, it is not stated in advance that no cleaning materials (soap or Fit, kitchen roll) will be provided - it would certainly be helpful to provide the piece of paper that you receive when checking in in advance so that you don't have to buy things on the first day , which you could certainly have brought from home in small packages.In the second bungalow we at least had a slightly newer kitchen with a dishwasher. But we couldn't necessarily use it because the dishes are really small and from an ecological point of view it's not worth using a dishwasher for 3 cups, plates and knives. Washing up in the kitchen was only possible with a kettle, as there was no warm water. However, this worked great in the shower.The boiler was in a closet in the bedroom. An unplastered shell shaft, the door of which could not be locked or even closed completely.The facility itself is great, especially when the weather is nice. The “adventure pool” consists of 2 pools with a baby pool and a small slide. More like a small swimming pool.Unfortunately, for me, price-performance doesn't match, or perhaps you should invest some money in the bungalows before painting the outside of the bathroom and consider providing a minimum of utensils such as soap.For the price per night (in the low season) you would expect a little more. The facility itself as well as the restaurant and the opportunities for children are optimal - there is simply a lack of contemporary participation or not enough investment.It's a shame, because I can understand why many people like to travel there, but then their expectations and demands are probably different or there may already be one or two renovated bungalows for an additional charge, of course...
