The rooms are not ultra-modern, but everything is intact and clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the location is simply brilliant (in close proximity to the beach promenade and pier). Plus a great breakfast buffet. Unbeatable value for money!We'll definitely come back

We had an apartment. It is functionally furnished. Personally, I missed the oven. Dishwasher is available. The apartment is very clean. Location is great. 200m to the promenade and the beach. We'll be back

We were in the care of our mothers there. Room change without any problems (even though outside the booking quota). Made everything possible. The much criticized 90s flair was simply wonderful. Staff courteous and incredibly friendly, not feigned friendliness. A small defect in the bathroom was reported, which was fixed during breakfast. Breakfast delicious and varied.

We 4 adults had an entire apartment to ourselves with 2 bedrooms and a shower room and a not so well-equipped kitchen (for example, a cutting board and a pan were missing), but it was very clean on the day of entry.... for the next 3 days It was only cleaned poorly...or the bathroom and trash can were cleaned, but nothing more! If we had a broom or a vacuum cleaner we would have cleaned it ourselves! The furniture in the apartment is not quite as old as the hotel room furnishings themselves, but very bare and sober, but great mattresses, at least hardness level 3-4, were very welcome for us! There is also a mini terrace with garden furniture in good condition. The evenings in the apartment were wonderful because we had no neighbors and were able to chat and laugh a little longer into the night.The breakfast was good, unfortunately there was ONLY filter coffee filled into the pots, which was mostly lukewarm and not particularly strong! The staff was super nice, friendly and helpful, parking spaces and the sea on the doorstep! Absolute recommendation!

The location by the sea is great.The hotel is extremely old. The hallways to the rooms were renovated. The stark contrast was the rooms, very run down, as was the bathroom, the sliding door on the shower was a bit dirty. The furnishings were reminiscent of the 60s, not really comfortable.The buffet didn't seem inviting. Various open salads (pasta, herring, meat, potato salad, etc.) poured onto dessert plates, where the guests could help themselves, bending over them, coughing, sniffling... without a cover. The slices of cheese and sausage were very numerous.The boiled eggs were on point. 16 types of jam were out of proportion. There was salmon twice and various types of bread were good.The filled warming pots of coffee were placed on the tables well before the guests arrived (lukewarm).No fully automatic coffee machine, just like the whole 60s style of the hotel. The two ladies in service stood in the breakfast room with eagle eyes on the guests and removed the used plates, whether they were still eating or not, very penetratively, at a speed that was very unpleasant. A little more consideration would have been more appropriate.This hotel is definitely not recommended!

Hotel is very conveniently located. Prices are too high for the room facilities. Breakfast and service is first class. Free parking is always appreciated.The rooms are in poor condition. The cleaning lady didn't exactly scream when she was dusting.

We had room 44 with a sea view (approx. 250m away). The furnishings are a bit old (old-fashioned). Regardless of this, we spent a few lovely days in Grömitz and had the best breakfast we have had in a hotel for a long time, apart from the scrambled eggs which tasted a bit strange. Unfortunately, the details on the website were not corrected and so we had to find out that the bar was not on, which was one reason to book here. The staff is very friendly with a slight urge to be arrogant. The cleaning of the rooms still has room for improvement.

I was there with my daughter. The location of the hotel was ideal. Quickly reach the promenade and shops. Room was simple but everything was very clean. The furniture could be renewed. From the balcony we could see the Baltic Sea, which was important to us. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately there was no hotel bar anymore, so we were a bit disappointed. The staff was very friendly. Spent four lovely days there.

This hotel receives a clear recommendation for booking. Nicely located, with decent parking space. The rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast is world class and everyone here is really friendly. Whether it's one night or 10, you can relax here.
