The Alte Lebkuchenfabrik is run with a lot of warmth and is a completely different hotel than some chains. Very comfortable and well maintained. You can stay overnight very well here. ❤️The associated café in the inner courtyard is also cozy and relaxed. We ate very well here. 🍽️ 😊

The two of us stayed here to watch the geese and cranes in Linum. When we arrived, we drank coffee in the courtyard and ate an excellent tarte flambée with figs and pumpkin. This hotel is so lovingly decorated and so sweet and friendly in every way that I don't understand why you would want to stay somewhere else. The rooms are spacious and clean, stylishly furnished. The beds were super comfortable (not too soft), we slept excellently. And the breakfast left us speechless, everything we got was so high quality (scrambled eggs, rolls, cheese, quark, cream cheese, fruit spreads, honey, yoghurt with granola, vegetable pieces). Top service, super friendly staff. It's great that something like this still exists. You can tell that people here do their work with passion.

We visited the “Alte Gingerbread Factory” at the beginning of October 24 as transients by bike. This overnight stay was an absolute highlight on our trip to the Baltic Sea! Although we only reached the “Alte Gingerbread Factory” at 9:15 p.m., we were warmly welcomed and were able to park our bikes in the inner courtyard. We were very grateful for that! Our room was very nice, well-kept and comfortably furnished and quiet. When we arrived, the whole house actually smelled of freshly baked gingerbread. Breakfast the next morning was a delight. Breakfast was served in the in-house café and put together with a lot of care and creativity and great delicacies. Just the thing for cyclists 😀…. Dear Lebkuchenfabrik team - thank you for the lovely stay! We'll definitely see each other again!

I came back to Kremmen after a long time. There I visited this café again with the wonderfully antique ambience. Now there are apparently new owners there who are really nice and friendly. But unfortunately the delicious cake from back then disappeared along with the former owner, which is why I was actually looking forward to visiting the gingerbread factory.

Very idyllic hotel in an impressive historical atmosphere! Popular café in the courtyard with a good selection. We stayed there: very nice old room with a new, very clean bathroom. Very rich breakfast in the corner of the square.

Very appealing atmosphere in the inner courtyard in an antique ambience. Stylistically appropriate chairs that are quite uncomfortable as a result. Very friendly and quick staff. The quality of the food is ok. with an acceptable price-performance ratio. Swallows breed in the entrance area, nice to watch.

We stayed in this guesthouse on our way to Rügen and were thrilled. The rooms are lovingly designed, large and very clean. Since we're not big breakfast eaters, we skipped this one, but I'm sure this would be excellent too.We were welcomed very friendly. We didn't find the bell straight away, but there is also a telephone number where someone can be reached.We will definitely stay here again when we are nearby.

On the way through Kremmen we happened to discover the café in the old gingerbread factory. A beautiful oasis on a rather inconspicuous street. Very comfortably furnished with attention to detail. It was just before 4:30 p.m. and they wanted to close at 5 p.m. According to the website it is open until 6 p.m.! The staff was already busy tidying up and cleaning. They tried to be friendly, but we didn't really feel welcome. We ordered coffee and cake. The cake was homemade and very tasty. Unfortunately, the rush to clean up around us didn't really give us any enjoyment. The 4 stars are only for the lovely ambience and the very delicious cake.I can't say anything about the hotel.

Discovered by chance while walking through the village. And I have to say, fortunately.Decorated with great attention to detail. Great, delicious cakes, very good café and, above all, really nice service. Not perfect, but they make everything go away with their kindness.I can't rate the rooms, but I am convinced that they are just as great as the rest.Please stay as you are.
