Actually, this has to remain a bit of a secret, otherwise it will become much too busy. Fantastic location for those who love the real outdoors. An excellent restaurant with beautiful regional products, nice employees, a friendly atmosphere, real cows and I could go on and on.

Had a great weekend in the small star cube at Erfgoed Bossem. Delicious food in the beautiful tasting room! Nice people. Plenty to do in the area: walking, cycling or by car. If you sleep in a star cube, it is recommended to also visit the Cosmos observatory. This is within walking distance and interesting for young and old. House Singraven in Denekamp, the town of Nordhorn and the castle in Bad Bentheim are also recommended.

Short conclusion (the details are in the extra fields because Google limits the number of characters):I'm glad I got the house through Groupon for a reasonably good price. The normal price here is really high. I can definitely not recommend the small star cube. The concept has so many quirks and weak points (see "room") that it's not worth the money. Then you have to spend around €50 more per night and book the Star Cube XL. Here you have more space and, above all, two windows at the bottom that can be opened so that you can cross-ventilate and somehow get the warm air outside. The XL house also has a better bathroom with a hand basin and more space. We would have happily forgone this experience in the mini house. Wishful thinking and reality diverge too far here. Or book in winter, then the temperatures in the house will definitely be ok (if the heating is working), the trees have no leaves (more view) and you can warm yourself by the fire pit on the terrace if you want to sit outside.It's a shame, really nice location and the hosts are nice. Unfortunately nothing for us.

Rather quiet place with a clearly visible starry sky (if the sky is clear) and a restaurant attached. Food high quality. Breakfast is placed in a basket at the star cube, reservations should be made for dinner!

Had a great overnight stay in the star cube 'Mars'! Unfortunately not a clear night for us, but still a nice spot. Breakfast basket was also great and we had a delicious 4-course dinner in the restaurant. Definitely recommended ☺️

Friendly staff who are always approachable and fulfill almost every wish 😉. We felt comfortable at all times. The location is exceptional and leaves you wanting for nothing, including the unobstructed view of the starry sky from bed, if the weather cooperates. 😇🙂

A different place to stay overnight. Really something completely different. The cube was clean and the reception staff were extremely friendly. Unfortunately, you can't see through the roof glazing as well as you expected. The breakfast was also a highlight and worth booking.

We slept here for 1 night and were lucky with a crystal clear sky. Nevertheless, nothing can be seen through the skylight because it is very thick double glazing. There may also have been condensation on the outside, which may not have helped. You can open the window electronically (a crack) to ventilate, but then you still can't see much and only from 1 side of the bed (in our case).Somehow we expected this house to be more small-scale and more personal in approach, but it is actually a kind of spacious campsite with all kinds of different types of accommodation and quite impersonal actually.Breakfast was good, but a bit of a shame that you have to wash everything yourself.Oh yes, a star cube like that, effectively a tiny house with a large skylight, you should only do it if you know each other very well or are willing to get to know each other very well 😉 that was fine with us, but I don't think it's for everyone I.All in all it is an experience, but for what you get I personally think the price is a bit high.The surroundings are truly beautiful and relaxing. You can enjoy beautiful walks there. We did the 5 km walking route of the Jongkindloop 2021 (there was a route at the information desk). That was really fun, but make sure you wear long pants and high shoes (or boots).

It was our first time here and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the farm. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The "Star Cubes" are fun and cozy. Despite their small size, these cubes are intelligently designed and well-equipped. The smaller version has steeper ladder to climb up the loft but the Star Cube Space has an actual stairs; and of course, more space.The farm itself is charming and an idyllic escape but not too disconnected from general amenities.We wish we had a longer stay and would be happy to return! 😍

Last weekend we spent the night in the Star Cube (Castor house), the house is fully equipped and if you like peace and quiet, this is the right place for you!The staff at Erfgoed Bossem is super friendly!We had a delicious and extensive breakfast every morning, which was super nice in a basket in front of your house (08:30)We also had a Burgundian stew one evening and it was also very tasty.If you like stars, tiny houses and lots of peace and quiet, then you've come to the right place!

One of the best experiences I've had so far! I was so excited about the idea that I booked it straight away and what can I say? We'll definitely come again! The little house was very nicely furnished, you had everything you needed there, a complete kitchen inventory, towels, bed linen, a small stove, a telescope and of course a bed loft from which you can look at the stars with an electronically controlled window. It was incredibly beautiful. In addition, the next morning there was a huge basket of breakfast in front of the house, where nothing was missing. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and I can only recommend everyone to have this experience at least once. Thanks !

We had a lodge tent for 1 night. The weather was not good, windy and lots of rain. The windows of the tent were supposed to be secured with Velcro, unfortunately they kept flapping open due to the wind, which made it quite draughty, and it was also raining at the front.Bed was excellent and a kerosene heater was available to get some warmth.There was a tub in the tent, my partner liked this, I showered in the public area, this shower was almost 3 meters high, so the water cooled down (too) quickly.Breakfast was fine.All in all, we think that price and quality are not entirely in proportion, the price is high.The surroundings are beautiful, even in the pouring rain.

Slept two nights under the stars in a Star Cube. Nice location, very friendly staff.The cube is small but nice, equipped with a toilet and shower cabin. On the loft you sleep under the skylight, through which you can see the stars at night. The double window makes it a bit blurry, but still a very nice experience. It is also good to make it dark before sleeping with the blackout sun blinds. It did get warm in the cube (which is logical with an outside temperature of 30°C), which was still manageable with two people. The telescope in the cube is not much, but there is an observatory a few minutes' drive away, for enthusiasts. For breakfast we opted for the breakfast basket, which was very well stocked with local products.Conclusion: Recommended.
