I've been staying here for work for more than a year now and I still look forward every day to the delicious food and the familiar atmosphere and the extremely helpful and friendly staff.When visiting the Black Forest, Waldeck is a must!Full marks.

The Waldeck in Lützenhardt is a family business that is run with love and passion - and it is precisely this coziness that is fully appreciated by the guests. I've stayed there for several months for work reasons and every time I return it's like coming home. Very friendly and impressively attentive staff, cozy rooms with a wonderful (balcony) view over large parts of the Waldachtal and what is also true is what every local who asked me about my hostel has confirmed to me: "You can eat well there !" Oh yes, you can. And you should: Tasty meals in large portions, always lovingly and variedly arranged and fine-tuned - really great! And I don't yet know the flagship product - the roast roast - personally.Every now and then I needed a little help in everyday life on site or even ordered a comfort coffee on a bad day at work and even when the house was extremely stressful or the house was full, Ms. Kaupp and Ms. Wild were naturally there for me and had an open ear or a helping hand and have often exceeded my respective expectations. This is much more than professional customer service and paints a clear picture of how caring and humane the team treats its guests. There are very few companies that I recommend without hesitation, but Waldeck is definitely one of them! Take the test and book one of the offers for hiking lovers or motorcyclists (it's all on the website) - and then you'll definitely be planning to return to Waldeck next year.The house itself was opened in 1956 by the owner family and still exudes the cozy charm of the economic miracle era without appearing unfashionable. Postcard-like in the best sense of the word - a clear plus for me as a lover of the aesthetics and attitude to life of the 50s!In summer there is a wonderful outdoor terrace where you can sit and dine comfortably, even when it rains. They're available in winter too, but... it's cold outside, so it's better to go to the rustic restaurant or hall, which is often booked for family celebrations or similar events. Patients from the two nearby rehabilitation clinics often come there. And they are often back on Wednesday. And again on Thursday, because there are so many great regional and home-style dishes to discover.I would definitely like to come back to Lützenhardt - but only if there is a room available for me in the Waldeck.

Very good food, large portions, if you need it, nice, quick service, even when it's full.We've been coming there for about 10 years now, the food, there's always Waldeck, where we're immediately greeted in a friendly manner.

We booked a comfort room for 9 days. The room was very nicely decorated, it was very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and something for everyone. We also often had lunch/dinner there and the dishes on offer are excellent. The inn is run with love by very nice, friendly people. If you're looking for peace and quiet, you've come to the right place.
