We were able to celebrate our wedding in Sayn's villa 3 months ago with a free wedding ceremony. Mr. Rees put in a lot of effort and gave us very good support and advice in planning and implementing our wedding. The service on our day was super friendly and helpful. The food was exactly what we wanted and was very tasty. Both we as the bride and groom and our guests had a very nice day. We would repeat our wedding again and again in the Sayn villa together with Mr. Rees and his team. It was an unforgettable and wonderful day, thank you very much.

We had a wonderful wedding celebration at Sayn's villa! Everything worked out great and was exactly as we agreed. The room was elegantly decorated, the buffet was varied and delicious, and our guests praised it. The service staff was friendly, the boss himself always checked on everything and helped out.We were able to celebrate with an open end and make music; Chef Daniel's DJ recommendation was also a stroke of luck. Our guests who had to travel further afield were able to stay overnight in the hotel (within a baby monitor distance from the hall). The next morning there was a delicious breakfast. The only small point of criticism is perhaps that the reservation of the rooms for our guests did not go so smoothly, it took a few days until their email was answered and when googling the hotel there is a risk of confusion with a hotel in Koblenz. But here we as hosts should have pointed this out better. That's why it's still a clear 5 stars!!!

The rooms are carelessly furnished and some things are broken. In my room (or rather a living toilet) there was no remote control for the TV. In the bathroom the water drained poorly in the sink, the toilet roll holder, shower head, shower rail, lamp in the bathroom and shower door were broken. Water was dripping from the water shut-off valve. You could hardly turn around in the bathroom, it was so narrow. There was next to no service. The owners (?) - a young family - just ran around in the garden with their children or their cell phones, they didn't work, at least I didn't see it. There were glasses and bottles lying around in every room...The food was carelessly prepared and not particularly good either. The rooms not really clean. I left early. It's a shame, because the building and the outdoor areas have potential.

I can confirm Anna D. review. All menus were not complete as promised on the menu. Essential trimmings were missing. The food did not give the impression that it was freshly prepared. I would also like to criticize the lack of professionalism. The man of the house, who also took over the service, appeared in unkempt casual clothing. So really, even with a capital "M", the employees wear a well-groomed work outfit.Even though we were only a small wedding party, I found it inappropriate to place us in the last corner. I took the trouble to look at the photo gallery and this exact corner is intended for 4 people and we were parked there with 11 people. It had something of a Tetris game about it. We were the only guests there, this could have been solved more cleverly. My conclusion: The website doesn't keep what it promises.

Good afternoon Mr. Reers,The day after the wedding, there are some things worth addressing. The champagne reception was nice, although we had declined a champagne reception during the preliminary discussion. This was billed that way even though we had no other choice as the glasses were already filled on the tray when they arrived. The agreed soup as a starter was as discussed and also met our expectations.Unfortunately the salmon was very salty and extremely dry. The potatoes in all main courses (rosemary potatoes, fried potatoes) were definitely made from older or warmed potatoes and this was criticized by several guests. All Wiener Schnitzels were missing cranberries.Veal cheeks and roast beef tasted great and were nicely prepared. This feedback was also passed on from time to time, but it was only recorded and accepted. That is of course a real shame. However, the dessert was a total faux pas. A warm zabaglione was poured into a soup bowl without any decoration. The guest was so disgusted by the presentation and the taste that he also rejected an alternative. The boss's statement "you have to like it and I don't like it either" didn't help and it was billed for.All apple crumbles were missing the previously discussed vanilla ice cream, which is also offered à la carte. The liquid center chocolate cake had no liquid center but was just like raw soft dough inside. And all the desserts were carelessly prepared. Without decoration, without nothing. The eye definitely eats with it.The table was beautifully set, but it was not possible for you to pass the plates to each guest because we were sitting in a corner, so the plates had to be passed through by the guests. The guests on the bench all had to get up as soon as someone had to go to the toilet. So sometimes 5 people had to get up because there was only one way to leave this place on the bench. Many guests also found your choice of clothing in no way appropriate. We were there with a wedding party and they served in jeans and a t-shirt. That doesn't work at a wedding. We love children... We thought it was absolutely fine that your children were present and you have incredibly friendly children... But it really doesn't have to be the case that children between the ages of 7 and 10 serve and clear away the food! Likewise, the fact that your wife served with a baby in her arms is not okay in such a setting. The hotel room, on the other hand, was really nice and there was nothing to complain about. However, the guests in the hotel room told us today that they wanted to have a drink in the restaurant in the evening. Pils without a beer mat and without a cuff, there was no whiskey-cola because there was no whiskey. And according to the guests, the tables were not wiped both in the evening in the restaurant and in the morning at breakfast and the buffet was not filled enough for the number of guests. The coffee machine in the breakfast room was probably also broken. All in all, our expectations were really disappointed (despite previous visits to the restaurant and several conversations beforehand). And in a way it is embarrassing for the wedding couple if the guests are not satisfied, as it should be a beautiful and unique day.Maybe it was just the exception for us, but unfortunately it left a lasting impression at this wedding.

A beautiful property, but the window pane in the sleeping area had a hole in it like it had been shot, the bathroom window couldn't be closed because a garden plant was growing into the bathroom and there was no replacement toilet paper, a shame, just a shame. There is a need for action!

The old floor creaks in the room wing. Television only usable to a limited extent. Bathroom quite small. Service was nice, but overloaded. Breakfast not opulent, sufficient. Price-performance reasonably ok.

Room dirty. Skirting boards dusty. No warm water for showers (several rooms). Carelessly furnished. The carpet in my room would have been better disposed of. Tiles in the bathroom dirty. Fittings calcified. A colleague of mine preferred to sleep in the car rather than there. I would have liked to have given more, but the lack of love was unbeatable.
