The climb to the Soierhaus is demanding but absolutely worth it.Once you reach the top you will be warmly welcomed! We really liked the concept at the hut.

This was our first experience at a Bavarian hut, we were very lucky to have picked such a fantastic place. The scenery is spectacular, with the high mountains facing you and open valleys to your back. The hosts Johanna and Lewis were very welcoming and friendly, the epitome of hospitality. The food was excellent, generous portions and of a quality I'd be delighted with at a restaurant back home. This was the highlight of our trip and we hope to come back, would strongly recommend it to anyone.

King Ludwig would have had his friends on it. Nice, very cheerful staff. Small menu but everything I ate and saw deserved many stars. Didn't stay overnight so there's no comment. Keep it up. See you next year.

The hut only has beds and no shower, we know that beforehand and we prepare for it. The room is very cozy, the operators are very nice and the food is really delicious! The breakfast buffet in particular was not just the usual, but also offered, for example, homemade banana bread and Bircher muesli. As a refreshment, you can take a jump into the beautiful Soiern lakes! And the view is beautiful.

The operators and waitresses are friendly and very accommodating.Everyone knows the region, mountains and paths. The food is great, we had dinner and breakfast. In the sleeping camp we had places 10 and 11.So we were basically at the door. It's very lively there. That was the only downer. We started from the Soiernhaus for a sunrise tour to the Schöttelkarspitze, which is highly recommended. Conclusion, definitely recommend, gladly again.

Nicely located hut, but service seems very sales-oriented and it's probably not welcome when mountaineering food/drinks are ordered - it's a shame if you as a guest then notice how people are talking about it in the kitchen. Do you need a curry for €19 in a hut or can “normal” dishes at reasonable prices do the trick?

Louis and his team only took over the hut at the beginning of the season and yet everything seems really cozy, approachable and well-coordinated. The hut is really cozy, the food was great, the service was super friendly and the view is second to none. In the evening there was live music from an English guitarist and good friend of the owner. Unique!Only the bearings are really narrow and creaky. You need a solid night's sleep in order to be rested the next day. But that's just how it is sometimes in the lovely mountain huts.Otherwise full 5 stars!
