We can only recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to have a quiet break. The great thing is that dogs are also allowed in this hotel. The breakfast buffet was very good and, in my opinion, very sufficient. The service in the house is very good, if you have special requests they will try to fulfill them. The environment is like something out of an advertising brochure and makes the hiker's heart beat faster. In the evening you can also go out to eat in the town in a very good and traditional way, and in the evening you can look forward to the cozy hotel rooms, which exude a modern but traditional atmosphere. What should also be mentioned is the hotel's own yard and hotel dog that lets everyone in, but doesn't let anyone out without being petted 😉. What is also very good in my opinion and worth considering is the private parking space directly in front of the house that doesn't cost anything extra. I can only recommend it to anyone who loves the mountains.I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the lovely landlady with her team and dog for the great time, and if nothing comes up it won't be the last holiday in this house.

We were able to spend 5 pleasant days here. From arrival to departure everything was relaxed, relaxed and pleasant. The breakfast was rich, delicious and lovingly designed down to the last detail. The room definitely gave us the feeling of home. The massages make you forget the stress of everyday life. Absolutely recommended for people and animals. And as an absolute bonus point, we definitely praise and recommend the small, fluffy wake-up service.

Can’t recommend this place enough! We stayed for one night at this gorgeous gästehaus nestled under a beautiful mountain and next to a glacier fed creek. Absolutely lovely owner who gave us the well appointed junior suite and a amazing breakfast in the wood carved scenic dining room. The beds were very comfortable and hearing the birds and creek when waking up was just perfect. No complaints! The town of Mittenwald is just lovely. Not touristy but great mix of shops, restaurants, historic buildings and scenery. Wish we had stayed longer.

We spent 8 nights in the Edlhuber guesthouse with our two dogs and were thrilled. The room (we had the junior suite) is beautiful, modernly renovated and has a lot of charm. We had direct access to the garden, which was of course ideal with the dogs.The breakfast was wonderfully prepared every day, with great attention to detail and there was everything your heart could desire. The hosts and the room staff were very kind and accommodating. We felt completely comfortable and are already looking forward to our next stay 😊

It is a peasant, comfortable guesthouse. It was clean, served a good breakfast, and the bed was fairly new. Attic room was nice, but there was only a tub and hand held shower, so we had to sit in the tub. We still highly recommend it for reasonable and enjoyable stay.

Perfect.Perfect breakfast, incredibly lovingly prepared, especially the breakfast room, where all decoration and detail lovers can't help but be amazed.The rooms are tastefully, slightly renovated in an Alpine style, everything is very new and high quality.The hosts' willingness to help cannot be topped.Our little dog felt very comfortable and was well looked after by the hosts in the evening.An absolute recommendation. We'll be back!!!

We'll definitely be back! Angelika is a super great and authentic host who warmly welcomed us to her guest house. The rooms and the breakfast room are furnished with great attention to detail. We stayed downstairs and had a large room with a hallway, walk-in closet, seating area, large bed and terrace. There is a small table and two chairs on the individual terraces, and even seat cushions are provided. The room also has a small refrigerator, a coffee maker and a television. Drinking coffee with a direct view of the Karwendel and the sound of the Isar is no problem. Bathroom and room were very clean. The only small drawback for us personally was that the mattresses on the double bed were a bit sagging.The breakfast buffet has everything your heart desires. Angelika does a lot of this herself and pays attention to regional and organic food when choosing food.Angelika is always open to questions and tips. The hiking trail to the Leutasch Gorge begins directly opposite the guest house. The center with many shopping opportunities and the Mittenwälder brewery inn are also a few minutes' walk away.We look forward to your next visit!

This was our second time at the Edlhuber guesthouse and we would love to come again!Great starting point for tours to the Karwendel, Kranzberg, Lautersee and much more. You can also get to the city center quickly.Our dog was warmly welcomed and thanks to the ground floor junior suite (which is what we had wished for) he even had direct access to the garden! It is wonderfully quiet and the view of the surrounding mountains is unique.The rooms are large and modernly furnished. Everything very clean. The breakfast has organic products, fresh fruits and much more.There are enough parking spaces in front of the house, and bicycles can be stored in a separate garden shed.Ms. Edlhuber is a warm and attentive host who puts the icing on the cake.Thank you for the great stay and see you next time 😊
