We spent a night in the Goldener Krug during our bike hike on the Weser. We couldn't have had better accommodation: the hostess was very friendly and did everything to make us feel comfortable. We were also able to lock up our bike safely, have a delicious meal in the evening and get our coffee early, before breakfast time had officially started. The price-performance ratio is also unbeatable. We would be happy to come back and certainly recommend you to others.

Very nice inn. We were there for a family celebration (Happy Birthday Grandma :) ) and the food was very tasty and the boss and the service staff were very nice and accommodating. The wedding soup deserves special mention: not too classic but totally delicious! Homemade, very good handcrafted German cuisine.Thank you for the great day with you.Completely satisfied.Suggestions for improvement:Foldable changing mat in the men's and women's toilets (e.g. found in swimming pools).For children there is a swing or something similar on the back lawn.

A nice location to stop off. The homemade cheese and cherry cake was very tasty and the coffee was also very good. The service was very friendly and paid attention to the guests. We felt comfortable. Next time we will come back for dinner!

Very nice, newly renovated guest house with overnight accommodation. Everything was very clean and decorated with love. We booked an overnight stay with breakfast and received a really great breakfast in the morning. The evening before we spontaneously invited 3 family members to breakfast and asked the owner if that was even possible. This really worked its magic and served us everything to our complete satisfaction. The table was beautifully set. What was left over from breakfast was even packed up and given to us.Thank you for that. Very friendly hostess and we will be happy to come back on our next visit. Too expensive for simple food Snitsel with fries, nothing compared to tasteless fries, with two coffees for 42.50 E, too bad I expected otherwise with this beautiful name Golden Grug.

The best restaurant far and wide. The ingredients of the dishes are fresh (no frozen or convenience food). The menu is very varied. You can get everything your heart desires, from duck to asparagus and schnitzel to risotto. The taste is unique. The service is courteous.

A great restaurant! The ambience is charming and cozy, perfect for a relaxed dinner or meeting with friends. The food is first class, freshly prepared and full of flavor. The chef personally takes care of feedback about his imaginative and tasty dishes. The service is exceptionally friendly and attentive. Keep it up, we are looking forward to the next visits and can recommend it to everyone.

Very nicely renovated and cozy, modern restaurant. We received a very friendly welcome. There were dishes from the menu and many extra dishes that were listed at the table. It's difficult to choose because of that. Beforehand, a greeting came from the kitchen with bread, spreads and beetroot salad. Very very tasty😋. The main courses were plentiful and especially the sauces were very tasty and not run of the mill! A quick chat with the chef was fun. The owner took great care and her passion fruit schnapps is highly recommended 😊Definitely call ahead!We'll definitely be back.
