Particularly noteworthy is the excellent breakfast with fresh rolls that you can choose the day before.The homemade fruit salad/fruit quark/muesli and changing side dishes such as cheese and sausage are very good.in the afternoon fruit / various types of tea“eat like a mother”.The price performance ratio is very good!!We recommend

We felt very comfortable during the week. Family atmosphere and friendly hosts who conjured up a very delicious breakfast. Every morning there were fresh bakery rolls, eggs, fresh fruit and delicious cold cuts. We recommend!

Double rooms and bathrooms are (depending on the room) appropriate in size and modernly furnished. The location of the guesthouse is optimal. The breakfast buffet is small but nice. I think it's very good that the bread rolls you want can be ticked in advance. Unfortunately there were no more fresh bakery rolls in 2023, which is a shame (hence 1 star deduction). There is always a delicious dessert and fresh fruit is provided in the afternoon. The in-house sun dune with seating and lying options is also interesting. In my opinion, the price/performance ratio is okay.

Haus Frohsinn is a guesthouse with a very cozy atmosphere. The rooms are friendly furnished and very clean. The service leaves nothing to be desired, great. The breakfast is rich and varied. There is also fresh fruit and very tasty quark dishes every day. We have felt very comfortable in Haus Frohsinn for years. The next vacation is already booked.

After staying at the guesthouse several times, we can only say positive things about the house and the Rump family. Unfortunately this year the weather didn't cooperate as planned, but we can thank Mr. Don't blame Rump. Otherwise, we can only wish the Rump family all the best and health.Best regards

That was a really great first stay on Juist. I chose the guesthouse based on the recommendation of a holiday acquaintance from last year.Very friendly & attentive hosts. Had a nice, small but nice single room with a balcony, very clean and well maintained.The morning start to the day was very special, with a view of the dike, the salt marshes and the hard-working horse teams. Not to forget the very lovingly prepared FRESH & very varied breakfast, delicious rolls, bread, egg dishes of your choice, quark, muesli, fruit, fish, cheese, cold cuts!!!I didn't miss anything except a little more sunshine :))

Small, owner-run bed and breakfast. Single room quite small, but everything was spotlessly clean. Everything in the bathroom with shower was also super clean. Unfortunately there is nothing more positive to report. The owner is very taciturn. He doesn't seem to enjoy his work much. A nice conversation, as I'm used to in another guesthouse, didn't take place. The breakfast, which is advertised on the internet as "whistle-smart", comes across as rather sad. Sausage and cheese carelessly thrown onto the plate without any decoration. I think that after all, the eyes also eat... Tomatoes or cucumbers were only available on one day... the radishes that were offered had seen better days. The consistency of the yoghurt/quark dish that was available every day was very reminiscent of Dr. Oetker.....and was probably not self-made. Some fresh fruit was offered. The rolls were fresh and from the island bakery....but rationed to two...absolutely sufficient for me....but a grown man....Fruit was offered in the afternoon.....but only until early evening, then it was taken away. There was a small selection of tea and instant coffee in the afternoon.....which was also charged extra....as was WiFi at a one-off charge of 5 euros. All in all, I wouldn't spend my vacation there again.

It was my first time on the North Sea and on a North Sea island, so it was all new impressions. And whatever, I was thrilled and as a bonus there was only wonderful sunny weather and only one rainy day.The guesthouse is beautifully located on the dike, so I had a wonderful view every morning at breakfast, but also from my room with balcony. My single room with a sink and separate toilet with shower was completely sufficient, I slept comfortably in the bed and slept very well every night. It is cleaned every day.The breakfast buffet was delicious, the fresh rolls were particularly tasty, even on the weekend.The Rump couple are very lovely and try very hard to please us all.I took part in the health week and was really impressed by the courses and the course instructors.I'm going home completely energized and will definitely come back.

We were a larger group and felt very comfortable. Great breakfast, drink service with fair prices. Rooms and everything very clean. Great view from the room. Very good location and friendly hosts. We recommend.

Unfortunately, our vacation at Pension Frohsinn is inexorably coming to an end. We really enjoyed our time in the family-run house. Every day started with an excellent breakfast, where we were surprised with new delicacies every day. The interaction with the guests was always friendly and courteous. This also applies to daily room service. That's why another visit to Haus Frohsinn is on our list. The island also helps you relax.

I lived with the Rump family in Haus Frohsinn for 5 days and felt comfortable and well recovered. It is a "small" owner-managed guesthouse in a typical islander's house, in an ideal location for the beach and for bike trips and hikes. The single room we booked was sufficiently large, well-kept and was lovingly prepared every day. The breakfast buffet offered (corresponds to the description) was sufficient and had a surprise in store every day, with rolls from the island bakery and a freshly boiled egg or scrambled egg as desired. The price/performance ratio is right.

We have been coming to the guesthouse for 3 years (I have been there 2-3 times before) and are very satisfied every time. Clean rooms, varied breakfast, courteous host and the location is perfect. The beach is a dune crossing away (5 minutes), the dike behind which the Wadden Sea is right in front of the door. We are already looking forward to our next vacation next year at Haus Frohsinn!! Simply worth 5 stars!!
