We received excellent advice right from the planning stage. The landlady, with her years of experience, gave us valuable recommendations that ensured the success of our celebration, and we were not disappointed.The day began with a coffee table that left nothing to be desired. The coffee was of the highest quality and the welcome drinks – sparkling wine, Aperol, Hugo – were lovingly prepared and offered a varied selection. These small but nice details helped make all guests feel welcome from the start.The evening buffet was an absolute highlight. It offered a diverse selection of delicacies that would satisfy even the most discerning palate. Every guest was thrilled and we still rave about the excellent food today. The quality and presentation of the food was exceptional and contributed significantly to the special atmosphere of the evening.The location of the inn also leaves nothing to be desired. The cozy guest room and the beautiful courtyard offer a welcoming environment in which both adults and children feel comfortable. The children could play in the yard, while the proximity to the Main could be used for a refreshing digestive walk. This unique location makes the Gasthof zum Anker something very special.Some of our guests used the guest rooms at the inn and were also very satisfied. The rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need. The breakfast buffet the next morning was particularly enjoyable: a large selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, various types of cheese and sausage, muesli, yoghurt and a variety of spreads - no wish was left unfulfilled.Particularly noteworthy is the excellent service. The service team was extremely attentive and courteous without seeming intrusive. Her positive and friendly manner contributed significantly to the pleasant and relaxed atmosphere that made our celebration so special.Overall, our experience at the Gasthof zum Anker was simply perfect. From the excellent planning and advice to the fantastic food to the friendly and attentive service - everything was really right here. We can only warmly recommend this inn and are already looking forward to our next visit!

We only had breakfast, very nice, courteous service, breakfast buffet is plentiful, nothing extraordinary, but good, gladly again!

Elke prepared food for my birthday. It was very tasty, the salmon was perfect and the pork loin with the fresh mushrooms was a dream. My guests and I were very satisfied. I can only recommend it. Gladly again at any time

This year we once again spent our family weekend in Elke's country inn in Laudenbach am Main and were once again very satisfied. The yard “belonged” to the grandchildren and they could play there without any worries. Within walking distance is the Main with the Main cycle path and lounge areas. Various tourist destinations, such as Miltenberg or Wertheim, are nearby.The rooms are clean, the breakfast was really rich and the evening buffet prepared for us by Elke was varied and delicious. Elke was happy to accommodate our requests, such as a family member's lactose intolerance. You have to know that there is no “normal” restaurant at the “Anker”; instead, the arrangement needs to be discussed individually with Elke. Good value for money! Recommendation!

I celebrated my big birthday in this inn. My expectations were not only met, but exceeded. The hosts were very friendly and responded to all of my wishes. From the culinary point of view, everything was excellent, there was something for every taste. Thank you again for the successful celebration!
