The Old Country House is a very cozy, quiet and lovely holiday home. We received a very friendly welcome (including an ice-cold bottle of Pinot Blanc) and felt very comfortable there the entire time. Of course, we also took part in a wine tasting and not only tasted the excellent wine, but also stocked up on it to take home. The winemaker himself conducted the wine tasting and gave us free choice in selecting the wines to try. That's how it has to be, always with pleasure. The Old Country House is therefore recommended in every respect.

On a wonderful spring day, we were able to enjoy a wonderful wine tasting on the wonderful terrace with 8 people. The wines convinced us. A Pinot Blanc so light for warm summer nights, a Gewürztraminer that is second to none... the Reibold-Niederauer family knows their stuff! The wine tasting was informative, educational, fun and enjoyable. Thank you!A large delivery arrived today. Now we spend the evening in Münsterland with a good Palatinate wine from Freinsheim. Splendid! We will be back. Thank you very much and best regards

We were able to do a wine tasting with Ms. Reibold Niederauer last week. Very competent and friendly advice in beautiful rooms. In my opinion, the Sauvignon Blanc from 2021 can keep up with those of the large, renowned wineries. Cheers!!!

A red wine made from German produce that is completely convincing. We are pleasantly surprised and can confirm that these days Germany not only stands for white drops but also for red drops. Thank you for this experience, we will order promptly and again.

We had a wine tasting in the courtyard of the winery as part of a birthday. The atmosphere was consistently good and the view of the farm was very nice - everything was very well maintained. We were presented with 11 wines, all of which tasted quite good. Unfortunately, the serving was very petty, which was very untypical given the cost (€15 per person) and especially since no refills were given. The owner gave us a bottle of water upon request as well as a small snack (there were six of us). The price-performance ratio of the wine is really good. What I personally didn't like at all was the ending. In an email confirmation from the winemaker we were informed that the cost of the wine tasting was 15€ per person would be offset against the purchase price of the wine if wine were subsequently purchased, regardless of the purchase price. We paid a total of around €350 for the wine. When asked whether the costs of the wine tasting could be offset, as confirmed in the email, the owner replied with the words: No, that is only possible from 250€, otherwise I would pay on top." That was very unfortunate unpleasant ending.
