Beautiful location, especially in winter. Unfortunately there is a huge renovation backlog. Bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, furniture, heating - would need to be in loving hands - then it would be a piece of jewelry. Unfortunately it is no longer up to date and unfortunately there is also mold infestation. The management was super nice. And the caretaker came immediately after the damage was reported.

We spent valuable time there as a family without electrosmog and headaches. Together we enjoyed the wonderful nature with lots of hikes, board games and good conversations. For us, the family room with its own bathtub and small kitchen as well as the antique furniture was a win. Thank you very much for the super nice support.

We hosted an overnight celebration here and the guests were all thrilled. As the organizers emphasize everywhere, the facility is comparable to a youth hostel. The house is old, but the facilities are good, the contacts are nice and the surroundings are an absolute dream!

Oh well. Generous two stars. I was there two years ago with almost 60 people as a school trip. The carers were very strange and often didn't know what to do. It was April and there was half a meter of snow. Very few people had decent winter clothing with them and yet they did sports outside every morning and the whole program was done outside. The building was very run down and old. Bathrooms and showers didn't work at all. Everyone had to wash under the tap somehow over the course of the week. The balconies were in danger of collapsing and were not allowed to be accessed. The kiosk or shop was only open once in the whole week. Some of the heaters didn't work and the windows weren't windproof or waterproof.

The Barbarossa house is in extreme need of renovation, everything is very old and unkempt. Mold in the showers, a lot of things are broken and dirty, sometimes with a high disgust factor. There is an extremely musty smell in the rooms, probably coming from the drain. The curtains haven't been washed for years and some of them are temporarily attached with cable ties. The rooms could also use fresh paint or minor to major cosmetic repairs. The balconies are in danger of collapsing and cannot be used, and the windows also do not seem very safe and are sometimes out of place. Broken beds, dirty bed linen...and much more! The crowning glory is the unfriendly staff. Absolutely not recommended! The location and the surroundings are phenomenal, it's a shame that nothing is done with it here :(
