For me it is a pleasure to be able to be at this campsite every year. This year I was on the course from August 25th, 2024 - September 2nd, 2024. I enjoy the peace and nature there. Brigitte and Uwe are super nice hosts. I also receive a warm welcome from the long-term campers every year. What Brigitte and Uwe have built there is simply great. Price/performance is great. The cleanliness and maintenance of the place is excellent. I just don't know why some people don't get along here and make the place bad? Are there rules everywhere, or do you also drive through a red light? Long story short, the place would get 100 stars from me if it were possible. Brigitte and Uwe, don't let yourself be defeated and stay as you are, namely wonderful!!! Please tell everyone my best wishes and see you next year!!! Kind regards, Sascha

Arrived September 4 late afternoon. We had driven for a whole day in 30 degrees, and were shown a place directly in the sun. We asked for a shaded place, but that could not be done, there were otherwise plenty of free places. The hostess was not very friendly.Otherwise a nice place

Nice, quiet campsite. Very well maintained and always clean sanitary facilities. Generous parking spaces. We felt very comfortable and welcome there.

Location and cleanliness of the sanitary facilities is excellent. But the friendliness, courtesy and understanding are zero. For this reason we will not be returning to this campsite

We ended up here as our last stop before heading home and what can I say? A very nice quiet and organized campsite. The sanitary facilities are exemplary and absolutely clean. No four-legged friends allowed, which benefits the well-deserved rest.Many overpriced and so-called comfort places can learn a lesson from this place. We'll definitely be back.

We only give one star because of the price and the proximity to the Karlmay Festival. Otherwise, unfortunately, this place is not recommended: the gate to the lake is always closed, which means a lot of detour - when we asked why the gate had to be locked, we got such a mushy and annoyed answer that we don't even want to repeat here.2. the owners are rather annoyed by guests, unfortunately you notice that when you arrive and register. Questions are answered with phrases and walking away3. Reprimands in such a comprehensive way that is not possible: e.g. B. Bicycles that were leaning against bushes were thrown into the next meadow, people who did not stay exactly on the path were reprimanded, children under 8 years old! They have to be accompanied to the toilets because otherwise they will be sent back and all this kind of “jokes”We are horrified by such little warmth and such annoyed place owners.Apart from that, the place offers nothing, nothing at all - especially not for kids. No playground, just nothingIn addition, it is a complete rip-off to charge €1 for a kWhMany of the gods who were there at the same time as us expressed the same feeling.Based on many responses to reviews submitted here, it is clear to us that we only rely on self-imposed rules and not on the well-being of the guestsFor us - never again!!!

A very nice camping site located directly on the lake. We received a very friendly welcome. The place is very well maintained and quiet, the sanitary facilities are very clean. The route to Kalkberg, the Karl May Festival and the city are not far and can be easily reached on foot. Thanks for the nice days! We can only recommend the place. Actually a beautifully located place on Lake Segeberger, if it weren't for the tenant. The way you deal with the guests is simply unreasonable, when you asked friendly questions you only got pat answers, so we preferred to leave the campsite straight away. You want to spend the most wonderful time of the year with nice people and not feel like a school child take measures upon arrival.

Were treated very unfriendly. Since we have a dog (small) we were sent away. Then we weren't even allowed to drive on the square to turn around.

I don't understand the bad reviews listed here... If you smile warmly when checking in you will be greeted just as friendly. Due to the tourist location, this should not be a camp with an evening disco and binge drinking, but rather a place to relax in a quiet and best natural environment. In order to make this possible for all guests, it is not possible without rules...All I can say about the sanitary facilities is... completely renovated and also 5 stars. Some hotels would be jealous. Even though we were only here for one night in transit, we can only recommend the place.

The place is laid out quite nicely, but the operators are unfriendly and obviously have no interest in guests. The way they treat paying guests here is an absolute disgrace. We will definitely not visit this place again due to what happened!!!

Environmentally conscious, friendly young people on a bike tour were turned away from this campsite without explanation, even though there were free places available.When asked politely, the operator became rude and broke off the conversation.Conclusion: Disastrous, unfriendly operators

Absolutely cannot confirm the negative experiences! Arrived spontaneously with a motorhome. 30 minutes before, just call. Availability queried. No problem. The welcome was not overly warm, but not unfriendly either, simply efficient and professional. Very nice place, lots of greenery, with a nearby lake and pleasantly quiet. Everything a camper's heart desires is available, in top condition and very clean.Regarding the “rules”: These contain nothing that common sense shouldn’t dictate. Unfortunately, in addition to consideration and good education, more and more people are losing this nowadays and it is becoming more and more necessary to explicitly point it out.We felt very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay. I can fully recommend the place to anyone looking for a quiet, clean and well-equipped place!

Very nice, quiet, natural, small campsite without hustle and bustle. Mega clean and well thought-out sanitary facilities. Super nice operator. Family atmosphere. On top of that, there is even a bread roll service.
