We are now with the Grassl family for the 8th time. The rooms are very nice and clean. The hosts were very nice and helpful. The location central. You are never too far away. Hintersee or Königssee are a slide. The breakfast was plentiful and good. When we go on vacation here in Ramsau, we stay at Mayringerlehen with the Grassl family.

Was there for the second time and loved it like the first time.The Grassl family was very nice and helpful without being intrusive. The room was extremely clean and very lovingly furnished.Balcony with mountain views and the in-house Kneipp pool.The breakfast was very good, especially the homemade products.I feel at home here.

Ramsau is one of the most beautiful places on earth, IMO. Staying there is a treat, but staying at Mayringerlehen is a gift. The entire place is welcoming and comfortable. The breakfast of all locally sourced foods is delicious and the family that make it all happen are wonderful! This was our second stay and we will be back.

We felt very comfortable all around. The Grassl family runs the guesthouse in a very familiar and at the same time unobtrusive manner. The organic breakfast was lovingly prepared every morning and we really enjoyed it. The food produced on the farm or in the immediate vicinity was particularly top notch.We wish the Grassl family all the best for the future.

We were greeted by very friendly hosts! It is a beautiful, exceptionally lovingly furnished residential unit with a wonderful garden and outdoor area. Breakfast is freshly prepared with small delicacies. Always happy again! We'll definitely be back!

We were on the farm for the second time, it is a great accommodation, very friendly, accommodating hosts, very good and rich breakfast, something for everyone. The fridge in the anteroom is also great, where you can take out cold drinks at any time, just write it down on a piece of paper. The animals on the farm are very trusting, especially the chickens who provided us with an egg every day :-). The Kneipp pool is also great, providing pleasant cooling after a hike.You just feel good here, it's quiet, beautiful, you can quickly go anywhere, whether at Königssee, Salzburg, Bad Reichenhall or for hiking here and there. The Mayringerlehen house in beautiful Ramsau offers a very friendly service. The rooms are clean and nice. The breakfast is rich and delicious.From here you can go on many great excursions (Königssee, Hintersee, Wimbachklamm, Kehlsteinhaus, Jenner, Salzburg and much more!) and, above all, it is much quieter than in the larger cities.In any case, I can recommend the Mayringerlehen house.

We found this lovely place from a Rick Steves Forum. The hosts, Maria and Johann, were attentive and accommodating. They allowed us to stay one additional night on the eve of their personal holiday (we stayed 5 nights.) This was my mother’s favorite place to stay on our entire trip. Mayringerlehen includes a small working farm, so we rose to delightful cow bells and the rooster crowing. The breakfast was a true highlight with a large selection featuring organic and high quality meats, cheeses, juices, fruits and vegetables. The hosts made our daily egg to our preference. The fresh cheese made by our host’s father was amazing, and I still dream of the wonderful homemade Holunderblütengelee (elderflower jelly) that I put on the fresh and very delicious rolls from the bakery across the street. The place was very clean, the host’s food handling practices exceptional, and the ability to use the washer and dryer helpful. The location, a 10 minute drive from Berchtesgaden, was an easy launch to exceptional sites in both Germany and Austria, including Lake Konigsee, St. Bartholomew’s Church, Mt. Jenner, Hallstatt, Burg Hohenwerfen, and Salzburg. It would be best to have a car if staying here, and it was easy to park. Ramsau is a small town and a little remote, and businesses close early.

With our arrival on July 8th, 2023, we spent ten nights with the Graßl family on the Mayringerlehen in Ramsau for the first time.When we arrived we were warmly welcomed at the farm. In the house we were shown the lounge and breakfast room with its buffet. Then we went up to the two-room apartment. Everything made a very good impression.Breakfast was eaten at the lovingly set table. In addition to the standards, the breakfast buffet included: Various types of homemade jams and fruit spreads Bread from the village bakery Honey from the neighbor and self-made muesli.Every morning you were offered eggs from your own chickens, which were then freshly prepared.Everything organic and regional.After breakfast back in the apartment, it was already prepared for the day. The fact that the bedding (pillows and blankets) looked different every day is proof of how much love this guesthouse is run with.From the first to the last day we had the impression that we had absolutely made the right choice with the Mayringerlehen.With a short walk to the bus stop and the option to use public transport with the guest card, you can easily experience Berchtesgadener Land.We had a good and enjoyable time with the Graßl family.We'd love to come back.

Nice room with a great view, you are greeted by lovely animals at the parking lot and in front of the entrance. Service was excellent, always friendly, nice and helpful. Breakfast was very tasty. The plus point was the fridge, which was always available with cold drinks and very good prices. All in all, it was a very nice place to stay. We would love to come back.
