There you are: the tent has just been installed and then the owner says that a wedding will be held the day after tomorrow. We thought the roads around the campsite were already very noisy, but this was over everything. We had difficulty hearing each other in the tent. As if a festival is being held next to your tent. But they stop at 11 o'clock, this went on until 1. And then there is still some demolition and clearing to do and the guests are still far from gone...So be warned: you should definitely not come here for a good night's sleep!

A 🔝place in the northeast of Fryslân!For a few days, a whole holiday or even standing places for a whole year! And hiker's huts.Well maintained grounds.Friendly, easily accessible owners.Super clean toilets and showers!Washing up areas near the toilets. You can empty your toilet container.Clean cold water on every site.Power for most standing areas.There are shared picnic tables that you can use.Located at De Zwemmer. Beautiful fishing spots have been created adjacent.Jeu de Boules courts.Catering facility and RustUit place for 🚲🚲🚲 or 🚶🏼♀️🚶🏼♀️🚶🏼♀️.Large playing field, volleyball net.Very suitable for team outings.All shops within 🚶🏼♀️ and 🚲 distance.Beautiful, extensive nature reserves next to and behind the campsite.You can visit beautiful villages all around via beautiful 🚲 paths or with the 🚙.Don't forget to visit Dokkum! One of the 11 cities of Fryslân.All in all, I shouldn't write this, because then I won't have a place anymore 🙃🙂And what did you do when this area is weed.Despite all that wetter, we had beautiful days. A lovely quiet campsite, with beautiful spacious pitches👌 The owners are friendly people, where you can always go with questions..We were standing on the water, where pleasure boats regularly sail past... very pleasant!! The opportunity to fish here is really a treat... Just cast your fishing rod in front of your tent... If you are a little further away... you can use the fishing platforms... the campsite is also close to various nature reserves. Leeuwarden, Drachten and Sneek are also easy to reach by car or bicycle!! Sanitary facilities are clean ..... Unfortunately the WiFi is less. Actually nothing at all.But the campsite is definitely recommended 👍

Cozy campsite on a navigable canal between Dokkum and the Burgumer Meer.Enjoy cycling and fishing. All amenities are available in the village, shops, public transport, etc.People in the village are friendly and helpful.

Last week we stayed at this campsite on the water, in a word, fantastic. Super friendly helpful people. Clean and spacious sanitary facilities, beautiful and spacious pitches. Jettys where you can sit and fish, and lots of fun with all the boats that sail past.We will definitely come back. 👍👍👍👍

Great little place for us as water hikers. Since we are traveling with inflatable boats and a tent, it is not as easy to find accommodation in the ports as it is in Germany, for example.Here we are surprised with comfortable jetties and even the possibility of renting a small log cabin. The space and sanitary facilities overall make a very clean impression and the hut is also equipped with a refrigerator, kettle, etc. In front of the hut there is a small terrace with two benches and a table.

Beautiful campsite, located on a beautiful canal where many boats sail past every (beautiful) day.Sanitary facilities are clean and spacious. Owner is very friendly and helpful. You can leave directly from the campsite for a number of beautiful bike rides. Supermarket can be reached by bike within 5 minutes.Had a wonderful stay here!!Recommended.

We were welcomed here as a group with tents and children. A campsite to our liking: no strict house rules, just cozy togetherness.Everyone cares about each other’s well-being.The place is getting old and could use some preparation, but it is very well maintained and clean.

Although it was winter (early March) and we were almost alone, the showers and the (large) kitchen were heated.We were stuck because of the snow but we were not bored.It is a real family campsite with real spacious showers.Very friendly owners, and open 24/7.There is mainly water sports and "the fishermen" can indulge themselves, really very spacious.We'll go back there.
