Unfortunately, our second stay at the Blutbuchenhof ended two days ago.The holiday apartments are superbly equipped! The kitchens of the apartments have dishwashers, toasters, coffee machines, kettles and stoves with ovens! Both apartments consist of 2 bedrooms, each with 2 beds in which you can sleep very well (one apartment has a bunk bed and an additional bed in the room) and a living room with TV and sofa. also a well-equipped bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer! The landlords are very nice and really take a lot of time for their guests, answering their questions nicely and finding a solution quickly if there are any problems! Our children both really enjoyed their vacation and regretted having to go home, as every vacation ends at some point. For example, they were allowed to help feed the cows and chickens on the farm and ride Foxy the pony. Petting the sheep is great! The two also loved driving tractors. A special highlight was the birth of a calf, which we were able to watch live on TV during our last vacation via a camera from the stable! There are also many leisure activities, especially for children. You can play football or catch on the large lawn right next to the house, swing, slide, ride a pedal tractor or a ketcar. There is also a table tennis table and much more. You can also have a barbecue or just unwind over a campfire. It's very comfortable on the nearby Eider or you can rent bikes from the farm and explore the area by bike. There is also an option to ride the Eider on stand-up paddleboards, which can also be rented. Our children want to go back to the Blutbuchenhof because many excursions, for example to the Baltic or North Sea, can be reached in just under an hour. There is an outdoor swimming pool in Erfde and indoor swimming pools in Rendsburg, Heide or Büsum. In short - the Blutbuchenhof is worth a trip and definitely recommended!!
