This year I managed to be a guest at Menschels at two different times of the year. In addition to meeting many other guests who are also repeat guests, I once again experienced the value of this beautiful retreat. The warmth of the team and the many small details that make the stay personal and warm are simply great. This time I was in the historic main building, which is located in the middle of the park. Direct route to the in-house restaurant, short route to the SPA and the medical area.Thank you very much!Repeat in spring is planned!

I was at Menschels primarily because of the medical wellness, as a “mini-rehab” and am (again) amazed at what can get “in motion” in a week - with archaic clay bathing, brilliant physio, anti-inflammatory food for the palate and joints, wellness , hiking, vineyards and the attentive hospitality of a family-run 4-star hotel. Thank you and gladly again.

The perfect place for fastingIt was my first fasting cure and I only ended up in Menschels by chance, and fate was probably very kind to me, everything was just right. The extensive facility is very well maintained, the medical and therapeutic treatment is great and all the employees are friendly and helpful. To ensure that you don't get bored, there is a comprehensive sports and wellness program. During meals, the fasting and fasting guests sit together, which I found very helpful because you could exchange ideas with like-minded people. Most of them have been there several times and have reported on their experiences. The tables were beautifully decorated with flowers, a blessing for the soul.It is the perfect place for a break and a fresh start for body and mind.

In the past I have been to the other famous German fasting clinic and then I discovered Menschels, which I have deeply enjoyed. The atmosphere here is very calm, no stress about daily body measurements, plenty of interesting procedures in the fasting package.Beautiful gardens. Relaxing wellness. And absolutely fabulous outdoor sauna. 💜The connection here is also great, if you don’t drive, you easily take train to Bad Sobernheim and taxi only for 7 minutes to the resort.I was fasting and would 100% recommend the stay to everyone who also wishes to experience peace and quiet time of fasting under a qualified supervision. In case you are considering to stay here without fasting and dine 3x a day at Menschels, you shall be aware, the cuisine can get a bit repetitive on a longer stays and is probably designed to satisfy the majority of the clientele, which is German. (Lots of bread and pasta)My partner was staying with me while I fasted and the best for him was always breakfast, plenty of variety and eggs. Mostly cooked. Rarely scrambled or fried. At Menschels they don’t serve much protein in the form of a lean meat, you get smoked fish regularly though. For the dinners you either have a buffet style or they ask you in the morning to choose 1 from the offered menu options.During our 14 days meat was on the offer 5 times. Some of the other reviews mention the facility and whole place is worn out and needs renovation, well, it is a pretty old resort and I find it has a soul and calming energy, everything is clean and that is what mattered to me.Overall I would recommend this place to everyone.
