The internet connection is actually not there. If it is important for you to have an internet connection because you have to work, for example, you can simply forget about it.Nevertheless, the room is clean and quite OK.There are also parking spaces directly in front of the hotel.

A fairytale hotel, as if you have walked straight into the story of Rapunzel. Immediately upon entering, a blanket of nostalgia falls around you. …

Location in the middle of the town center near the church. The restaurant business was given up after Corona. There is only breakfast (hotel garni)

Too expensive for what you get, old, dusty, but nice beds.

Very charming cozy hotel, spacious neat rooms (not ultra-modern) + bathroom, according to the grandchildren with a fairytale garden. The dogs were also welcome. The fact that there was no longer a restaurant is made up for by the 3 restaurants within walking distance, which were very tasty. Beautiful area for walking, cycling. In any case, we enjoyed it with the children and grandchildren.

First impression upon arrival:*Plus points: charming looking hotel from the outside and plenty of free parking. Hostess speaks Dutch and seems friendly.*Minus points: When you enter reception you smell cigarette smoke. The walking map on loan is very old and falling apart. I understood that the walking maps are no longer made. Suggestion to make a nice copy of a good copy or to offer a digital walking route. Restaurant is closed due to staff shortage. This is understandable in this day and age, but the suggestion is to remove restaurant text from the website. Hostess has offered alternative restaurants in the area.First impression of hotel room/hotel in general:*Plus points: hotel room looks reasonably clean. Toilet was neat, as was the bath/shower and bed (linen). No foul odors detected. Some dust on the furniture and shelves, but not really disturbed. Wifi works reasonably well. Sometimes outages and not very fast but not bad for this hotel. Breakfast room also looked clean. Breakfast tasted decent and available until about 9:30. Beautiful backyard with terrace where you can drink a cup of coffee in the evening.*Minus points: interior, styling and equipment are very dated and appear old-fashioned. No elevator was observed. I also have doubts about (fire) safety: no alternative escape routes, dark corridors, and a wooden floor that you have to fall through with your foot (the plank is loose). Bread during breakfast sometimes did not taste fresh (seems like it was from yesterday). In summary: you can tell from everything in this hotel that it has seen its best days. I classify this hotel as basic and reasonable for a maximum of 1 or 2 days. If you are not bothered by the old-fashioned interior, the neighboring church bell and are purely interested in the surroundings, the hotel is 'OK'.The area around the hotel is fantastic. Beautiful nature and very quiet. Cities such as Bitburg, Trier and Luxembourg can be reached within an hour by car. The hotel is located in a quiet village that also has a bakery and some restaurants. The hotel is not recommended by public transport from the Netherlands due to the long travel time and many transfers. The hotel does miss many opportunities in terms of offering activities in the area, innovation and sustainability.

Very nice location, there is no arguing about thatFriendly owners, but we had booked a hotel with restaurant. Unfortunately, the first thing we were told when we arrived was that the restaurant was closed due to lack of staff. We also saw that there were too few (read no) staff from the dust and dead insects in the rooms. The beautiful garden had also not had any maintenance for a while. The breakfast was the same every day.The photos on the website look beautiful, the website was updated in 2021, but is not applicable at all. There is work to be done.As far as I'm concerned: Stayed in the monkey
